wonderful logic..
by SardarPaterl on Apr 12, 2011 08:11 AM  | Hide replies

If there is anything good (yoga, Vedas, mathematics etc) then it does not belong to Hindusim. If there is anything bad (caste system etc) then it is something VERY EXCLUSIVE to Hindusim alone!!

Wonderful logic..

This is the same logic adapted by the Europeans 500 years ago. First they said (i) they are aryan and dravidans (ii) then they said aryan wrote vedas (iii) then they said aryans were from europe.

So if you follow (i), (ii) and (iii) above then it "logically" means that aryans who came from europe gave us the vedas..

Similarly.. the argument on Yoga is on the same lines. First break-off Yoga from Hindusim by makign it "Universal". Then "trace" the roots of Yoga to egyptians or some obscure "indo-european sect" in central europe. And in final stages rob the Yoga of Hindusim. Soon, our "intellectuals" in JNU start embracing the new found knowledge and start teaching that Yoga was actually an european invention.

JAIN HIND...

Even to make male and female sheiks have hallucinations. Thus they now classify people by first, second, third class though they don't tell openly.

One Yoga - Two Theories
by Al Ringer on Apr 12, 2011 06:39 AM  | Hide replies

There are 2 theories:

1.The first school of thought says: In ancient times everyone who lived east of Indus river were called Hindus and therefore everyone belonged to Hinduism. Although from a faith perspective there was plurality, from culture perspective there was commonality in ancient times. Patanjali developed Yoga during these times, as a science and not as a theology. Therefore Yoga is very much a part of Hindu tradition.

2. The second school of thought says: Patanjali belonged to Spain where he developed Yoga as Christian Science. An Indian slave worker in the coffee fields, stole the books written by Patanjali from Spain National library and smuggled them to India where it was hidden for 300 years. When they were finally brought out everyone thought it was the work of Hindu saint Patanjali. Spain had already forgotten that Yoga was their science because all the people who lived during the development of Yoga had already died.

The second theory is gaining momentum in the west. It is endorsed by historians and scholars and researchers. I too tend to believe in the second theory!

YOU OXYMORON, YOU JUST PROVED THAT UR A COMMUNAL AND THIRD CLASS CITIZEN OF INDIA.

I ASK YOU, HOW MANY CHRISTIANS LIKE YOU ARE THERE IN INDIA?

THIS IS WHAT THE PASTOR IN YOUR CHURCH TEACHING YOUR KIND?

I KNOW SOME DECENT AND NON-COMMUNAL CHRISTIANS WHO PRACTICE YOGA AND GIVE CREDIT TO HINDUS FOR CREATING THE YOGA SYSTEM TO A HEALTHY LIFE.

SHAME ON YOU !. I DOUBT WHETHER YOU ARE A TRUE CHRISTIANS FOR THE CHRISTIANITY PREACHED BY THE VATICAN IS DOUBTED IN THE WEST.

HENCE, THE FOLLOWERS OF THE VATICAN CHRISTIANITY ARE CHRISTIANS OF DOUBTFUL NATURE.

NO WONDER, THE PEOPLE IN THE WEST ARE LEAVING CHRISTIANITY TO TAKE UP ISLAM, BUDDHISM , HINDUISM OR SOME OTHER SPIRITUAL SYSTEM.

MANY OF THEM ARE NON PRACTISING CHRISTIANS. THIS CONCEPT OF PRACTISING OR NON PRACTISING BELIEVER EXIST ONLY IN THE WEST CONSIDERED AS THE BASTION OF CHRISTIANITY.

YOU DO NOT SEE THIS CONCEPT EITHER IN HINDUISM OR ISLAM OR FOR THAT MATTER IN ANY OTHER RELIGION.

Al, the Spanish theory is really funny! History shows ancient Hindu civilization was much more advanced in spiritual knowledge (that led to yoga) than Spain ever was. Hey, as a Hindu I have no problems about what you would and the Christian world would like to believe. If yoga is good for you, find your own way to justify it so that it sounds Christian! Because, that does not change the truth however you cloak it.

it is tactical move. we all know.
Middle-eastern religion is deeply intolerant at core and tactics, though not in interactions.
there are more chance of Jesus and mecca and jJewish signs in Hodoo houses. but not vice-versa in that big proportions.

let us play this game, if Jesus is Hindu then Ganesh is Xtian
by E darwin on Apr 12, 2011 06:29 AM  | Hide replies

wibas wibas,
Why not put up Ganesh and bhagwat Gita in church. None of the missionaries give Gita instead of bible or put ganesha in church or give ganesha instead of cross.

We cannot double play different games in different countries. Jolie and Pitt pick mosleem countries for charities because children they adopt and chrisitnize are mostly from Mosleem background of africa who used to be shamans before.

they slaves that were bought to usa and Americas were xtianized were all mosleem and they were shamans before that.

Facts and grandest truths of the world
by wibas wibas

1. There is no word for religion in Bhagavad Gita.
2. Gautama Buddha has preached what he self-realized, but he never wanted a different religion.
3. Jesus Christ doesn't belong to any religion, he is very much yogi in Hindu religion and yet son of god for christian.
4. Two years before leaving his body (Mahasamidhi), Shridi Saibaba cried over his devotees to tell him whether he was Hindu or Muslim.
5. Ramakrishna Paramahansa declared - hindus call it Jal, while muslims call it Pani.

What separates the rest of us from Shridi Saibaba,Jesus,Ramakrishna,GuruNanak,Buddha and great teachers of world is ignorance (aGynan), and so we see difference in religions, difference in religious theories, differences in spirtuality and all..
