When MMS became PM he promised to spend $5 Billion dollars so that he can win hearts and mind of Kasmiri people who wanted to be part of India. But none of that money was spent and no one knows where that money disappear. Since then unemployemnt has reached ten times more. Forty percent Kashmiris slippled from middle class to poverty. Parents cannot afford education to their children with no job and no money. Development is standstill. People in their own home living like in a Jail. Will all this convince Kashmiris to stay with India.

Punjab had a similar problem so the boys migrated to other part of world to earn there livelhood. Even Keralites go and earn money abroad

You mean they should leave their home and land. People of Punjab and Kerala due to their religions were discriminated so much that they had no choice but to leave India. That reason brought civil war. Now western countries economically finished so they now have no choice so sooner or later unrest will start.Abuse of power and National wealth by Brahmins and Baniyas is root cause of injustice as they control bulk of Indian wealth.

when kashmiris were given article370 autonomous ruling, what the heck did they do???? destroyed their land, got into jihad, exterminated minorities, made kashmir a living hell and now blaming the state of kashmir to be in a mess because of indians!!!! now, kashmiris r neither left with aerable or agriculturable land nor a relatively peaceful atmosphere like any of the 57 muslim nations!!! as you sow, so shall you reap!!

Google it just don't spread false propaganda for Kashmiris pundits who left Kashmir like other Muslimns Kasmiris due to unrest and insugency. Mr Farooq parallels India's freedom struggle with Kashmir freedom struggle. British occupied from thousands of miles away. India had no connection with British Empire before 14th century. Kashmir is having a common border and not geographically separated by big mountain range or ocean. Kashmiris are neither very distinct from other states of India nor has a district history separated from India. How is it separate country now? In that case a Punjab or Assam or Gujarat or Bihar is very distinct and all can be a separate country. Please challenge my thinking if you can. Indians have never distinguished or discriminated Kashmiris from themselves. I have seen many Kashmiris in the heartland of India living harmoniously, If so then why this struggle? U are right. None on Kashmiri Pandits condition which even CPM leader Sitaram Yechury has described as living in atrocious conditions without proper shelter and other basic things
