Good to see that we still do have at least few efficient IPS officer. Also, if a law enforcer is found guilty he should have double the punishment as to what a common people get.

In South also (I am a southie), such barbarians are but they go unnoticed in the north because the media in the north spot their lights on these policemen. You must see the newspapers in south and see how they ridicules the policemen. Let the honest police officers show India the way. Let us hope to see the most honest policemen in India. Kalpanaji, you are the pioneer of honesty in the working ranks of the police.
Is it only UP or other non-congress states where the police is decayed? Why not "expose the decay" in congress and the states ruled by it? There is nothing great in pointing finger at the weak. If you have good intentions, expose the powerful.
