road widening work has literally killed MTNL & BSNL c
by pravin sarode on Oct 31, 2010 11:55 PM

road widening work has literally killed MTNL & BSNL cable network but minister of road widening is busy eating money from all his mafia contractors that he has not time even to look at loss of million of dollars due to poclain jcb cutting optical fibre cables and copper cables of government owned campanies as MTNL and BSNL. it is surprising that President of india is 100 percent owner of all these cables all over india is lease botherred so also his/her ministers of communication like pramd mahajan, a raja. telecom sector is already full of 2 G scam that is 70000 crore but i suspect this loss to the nation by cutting OFC & PIJF cable by road mafia is the biggest scam all over the world till date because no government is even ready to pay single paise to MTNL or BSNL for the crime under section 426 Indian Penal code to cause property damage more than rupees 50 ? Section 425. Mischief Whoever with intent to cause, or knowing that he is likely to cause, wrongful loss or damage to the public or to any person, cause the destruction of any property, or any such change in any property or in the situation thereof as destroys or diminishes its value or utility, or affects it injuriously, commits "mischief".Explanation 1. -It is not essential to the offence of mischief that the offender should intend to cause loss or damage to the owner of the property injured or destroyed. It is sufficient if he intends to cause, or knows that he is li

Indian politicians are the richest among their counterparts
by candidreview on Oct 31, 2010 11:22 PM  | Hide replies

Corruptions is there every where in the world but Indian politicians will win gold medal silver medal and bronze medal in the corruption. Indian politicians might have robbed more than 10 times than the second most corrupt country.

I want to be a Minister, MP or MLA to loot but I don't have money to buy votes to win election and then to loot.

India is mother of all racist societies. Indians discriminate on the basis of caste, creed, complexion, religion, sex and even dietary habits. We Indians have perfected, patented, and exported a particularly obnoxious form of survival and a political patronage system of CHALTA HAI and MAI-BAAP Government! Can one Indian stand up ans say that he never paid a bribe or dealt in BLACK MONEY when buying a flat or piece of land or getting admission for a child or getting a BERTH in a train or while going for a DRIVING LICENSE or gettinga telephone connection or getting police clearance fora passport???? We are a nation of batant hypocrtites!!

I dont hesitate to declare that all of these politicians are shameless bas...rds! And that is irrespective of party affiliations. We threw out kings, monarchs, emperors and a colonial power like Britain to let these scum lord it over us with their Red-beaconed cars, helicopters, privileges and discretionary powers! Politicians of all hues have cornered huge trunks of land & real estate for themselves. Just look at any list of Engineering & Medical colleges and you will find how politicians have cornered the land from the government at throwaway prices. Look at any so called society or charitable trust and you will find that the same politicians have control over prime real estate which has been alloted to them from the government. Similar is the case with Slum rehabilitation schemes! The less said about landgrabbing in the name of development projects or getting compensation for land usage in industrial projects, the better.
Unless we computerize all land & revenue records and revoke the governments' poweres to allot land at concessional rates, this sorry sdate of affairs will continue. All government land should be alloted only by open auction/sale at market prices!
All of the above is the tip of the iceberg. Look at any state housing agency or board like MHADA, DDA, CIDCO, HUDA, etc and the loot by the politicians and touts in the allotment of flats will run into thousands of crores. Do you think that it is a coincidence that Kushal Pal Singh of DLF is one of the richest men in India today?

Politicians survive by doling out favours. So they need multiple avenues for doing that.

Even the RuralEmploymentGuarantee Scheme is more h0rrible, where payments are made to "ghosts" also!!

Very true JGN! Alas, even an egalitarian ideology like Communism has let people down and become repressive and retrograde the world over! I shudder when I look at Cuba or China! Then maybe, Nature is meant to be cruel & merciless and the societal rules are meant to be such where the MEEK never INHERIT the earth, unlike in UTOPIAN religions' claims!
I almost support George Carlin's self beration when he says-"I look at it this way... For centuries now, man has done everything he can to destroy, defile, and interfere with nature: clear-cutting forests, strip-mining mountains, poisoning the atmosphere, over-fishing the oceans, polluting the rivers and lakes, destroying wetlands and aquifers... so when nature strikes back, and smacks him on the head and kicks him in the nuts, I enjoy that. I have absolutely no sympathy for human beings whatsoever. None. And no matter what kind of problem humans are facing, whether it's natural or man-made, I always hope it gets worse."
