India is capable of fighting its own battle and can do it very well.We are unnecessarily dragging the US in this.We lack the political will to demolish Pakistan from the map of India.It should not take more than two to three hours to do it.Unfortunately we allow our civilians and arm forces to be killed and the politicians are making money from this drama.
"US President Barack Obama will keep his date with his personal hero Mahatma Gandhi and visit a museum and the Rajghat during his India trip but apparently is not going to visit the Golden Temple. "
bold move by Obama, he is on business. Some are complaining that Obama did not go to Ajmer to put chadar on the dargah. Some want him to be in Jama Masjid.
thats right ...he needs to sell the absolute arms not used by americans to india at much higher cost....maybe we too need those weapons to keep the game in balance...only india can give some restrain to american downfalling economy...obama might be thinking!!!!!

if any big deals are to be sealed, india should lay preconditions of US pressure on Pak to give PoK to India

Remember , Barack Hussain Obama, is muslim by religion, and if any of us thinking that he will help us at the cost of pakistan then it would by day dreaming only.
he will never do any thing which harm pakistan interest , this is very clear.but still if we believe that he is our friend then only god can save us, during cold war era, india was at russia (USSR)side and pakistan was America side.and we are looking to be close to USa after USSR era. that is not practical. USA use us a market only. china is bigger threat to india, and we always concentrate towards Pakistan only.

i think so many of you are loosing the long term vision in responding to Barack's visit.plz be aware that china is lurking with dragon at our door.the only hope that we have is a strong developing US tie.a hopefully fruitful defence collaboration with the US can push china on backfoot.

While long term partnehsip is highly desirable and I agree such visits should not be seen as one off events but i think the current US president would be of any help when Chinese forces come calling. At present he is like any Indian MLA thinking of his next term more than anything else.

you are absolutely correct. We cannot expect US to send their army and infrastructure to India (in case if China starts a war against India). All US will do is issue a statement condenming China. But, we will be at loss
He is coming to ensure business for the american companies who are dying with no businesses. With Indian leaders most corrupt and ready to please him for visa/ immigration settlement in US for them and their sons, they will again ensure that loot from indian people continue in the name of defence, nuclear power or so. Do we have not the world class scintists and Engineers to do the same for us in India?
And why media is so obsessive about the US PRSEIDENT visit. It seems as if their (Paid media's and politicians) GOD is coming for their salvation....
