India's future
by hemant padhiar on Oct 26, 2010 10:56 AM  | Hide replies

let me make it amply clear that America is nobody's friend. it only follows its own interest and Afghanistan as the example. U.S. intervened in Iraq only to protect its monopoly on Oil supply of the world and it is helping India a bit because it wants to counter the influence of china in the region and it is giving billions of dollars to pakistan in aid so that its own soldiers do not have to fight the war, stupid pakistanies are actually fighting amerca's war in waziristan.

Pakista and India both are being befooled by America. America has never fought any war on its own mainland. It beleives in intruding into other countries to keep its own people safe and uses a double edged sword to deal both with enemies and so called friends (as US is nobody's friend). Pakistan is no stupid. It is fleecing America with both hands and robbing American Peter to pay Terrorists (AQ/Taliban/LeT) Pauls. In any case Americans ar at least for now safe in the Mainland. Meanwhile Iraq and Afghanistan are bleeding to die. India should once again try to forge good relations with Iran, China and Saudi Arabia along with Vietnam, Japan, South Korea and neighbouly countries. But not without shunnting Arundhati Riys and Sayeed Gilanis into anda cell of Mumbai Jail without further delay. Wise people say firsty finish enemies within and then lock horn with outside adversaries. Only then you can hope to win. But the way our PM and HM are behaving with Kashmir, Naxals and Negihbourly countries the country is in real danger. PM has responsibilty without authority and Conia Gandhi has Authority without Responsibilty. This is the real cause of india's present deadly problems with dangerous issues. But then who has elected this coalitin Govt. We Indians and let us pay and repent for our follies.

the poor and middle class have no future in India
by brian crasto on Oct 26, 2010 10:49 AM  | Hide replies

80% of indias wealth have been shared among 20% of the the citizens. The rest have to struggle throughout their lives, hoping against hope that one day the they will get their needs, like good education, good healthcare, decent accomadation, decent salaries.Alas dreams will still be dreams. Yet our political and business leaders along with the media will project a picture of heaven. USA on the other hand will strive for its citizens. The visit of the president of the USA is just hyped. There were many presidents who have come and gone. But did it improve the lives of the general public of india

Looks like you have heard off Pareto's law for the first time. You cannot make somebody better off without making any one worse off. No populous countries or political systems exist , that prove other wise.

As far as we contiue to breed like rabbits, there is absolutely no hope for us. Indeed no US president or any other president can do anything to curb the roots of our physical poverty. No amount of government money being doled out in the name of NREGA will make us any better. Only enterprise and enterpreneurial thinking will make a positive difference.

The whole of India is a big dustbin where we live.
Eductaed people have no reason to live in this land which is downright corrupt and filled with the worst possible human beings.
I truly hate this country.8 out 10 are corrupt and the rest 2 are never respected.

How can a nation get so low ? ONLY THE RATS LIKE POLITICIANS,POLICE,CROOKS CAN LIVE HERE PEACEFULLY.This nation needs complete demolition, and rats from all corner need to be found and smashed without asking a question. The country has reached a point of no return.
I request my western friends not to visit this nation ever ever.

PLEASE ANSWER ME, HOW CAN A COUNTRY BE SO BAD ? IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE SO BAD,EVERY CORNER OF THIS COUNTRY IS FILLED WITH MORALLY DEGRADED PEOPLE....HOW COME IS IT POSSIBLE ?

Before you abuse me,let me tell you lound and clear that I am not talking Sh about India,I am talking "TRUTH" about India.

Yaswant was a slave to Madline Albright,
Successive UPA govt. has stood up against western lobbies in WTO or environment forums. The profile of India has been shaped by NAM of Neheru and now rejuvenated by the dream of Dr. Singh to engage with all the powers of the world equally. Congress has never done anything that suggest India's policies are subservient to foreign power. Be it staying away from US and Russia but still getting the benefit from the both in 50/70, continuing with nuclear ambition from 60s till today, stonewalling USA's veiled threat during 71 war, carrying out missile and other defense R&D on its own, funding ISRO to an extent where our devoted scientists are now rubbing shoulders with NASA, keeping a country like India united and coming out of the recession with flying colors when big economies are fighting to stay. Behind all these there is a clear hand of Congress in policy formulation. So use your brain to see the reason. I understand the person from the stable of RSS can not think reasonably. They just think in terms of Saffron or green.

its the negative side of democracy dude.... its the same in western countries as well. ppl do take advantage of the freedom of speech tag.... its unfortunate for india's point of view that we're situated amongst such dangerous nations..... like a volcano, ready to erupt anytime.... when western countries look at asia, (and m telling you from personal experience) they look at india as the only democratic place to live in.... its not easy to run a country with a population of over 1.2 billion.... we're jst 63 years old.... western countries, developed nations.... over a 100 yrs.... it takes time. i do agree we have had bad leaders who have ruined this country in their personal interest.... but we can believe in ourselves.....

Indias future with whom
by suryanarayanan ramesh on Oct 26, 2010 10:34 AM  | Hide replies

Ofcourse, Indias future lies with India & Indian Citizens only but the Congress govt. at the Centre is Mortgaged Indias respect with US & China.

Since, the govt. at the centre is afraid of both the countries, just because these 2 R Superpowers, by totally forgotting our country is also an growing Super Power & on its way to the final countdown.

Let India & the Congress at the Centre understands our Indian Citizens feelings that V people do not want our country to kneel down & bow to other foreign countries.

The above is related to our Sovergnity & V people supports the above 2 Nations to a greater extent by making our Livelihood there.

Us is depending on Indias Manpower & Scientists & China is depending our Trade agreements.

Hence, Keep these 2 countries at distance Level to walk tall at the International Arena.
