India&Indians Must LOOK East&NOT west
by True Hindustani on Oct 28, 2010 11:51 PM

It is time that India and Indians start looking East instead of racist western nations and western nations whooe contribution to india and indians has been to fool and loot to their heart's content for the past 500 years.USA and Obama and western leaders praise mahatma gandhee and non-violence to the skies 24 hours a day and see how these hypocritic nation USA is giving thousands and thousands or crores to a jehadi nation to make violence and terror in indian subcontinent. HOW HYPOCRITIC ARE THESE WESTERN NATIONS&LEADERS and western nations HAVE NEVER used no-violence as a weapong to solve any of their problems. See what a FARCE was this non-violence adopted by fake freedm fighter and british double agent Mahatma Gandhee and WHAT A FARCIAL HYPOCRITE ABD TRAITOR was Mahatma Gandhee was for majority Hindus. Non-violence policy was USED to make majrotu hindus morons&ennuchs and cowards AND IT WAS INVENTED BY THE BRITISH MASTERS to FOOl&LOOT trillions and trillions of dollars WITHOUT GETTING HURT OR KILLED BY majroty ennuch and moronic hindus

India badly needs a alternate Opposition Movement
by roollak virgo on Oct 27, 2010 10:12 AM

India badly needs a alternate opposition movement which can accomodate al spears of openions as the Congress does. While the Congress have most of the time up held the great values up on which the Nation of India was built because of its massive popularity as the movement which led the indian freeedom struggle Opposition parties had to try extreme politics to get into the Main stream. this needs to now change given the fact that the popularity of congress and the Grip it had on the indian population is weaning.

A known fact
by ojama on Oct 26, 2010 12:40 PM

Its a well known fact that Indias future cant be much influnced by US actions either way. The Left parties understand this better than any other party in India. If congress wants a soft embrace of US, BJP wants a protective embrace.

But we should not either loose sight of nor overlook the fact that pakistan by allowing it to get embraced by US for protection against India has become a failed state entirely dependant on US for every thing for its survival on edges.

only if we learn from America's mistakes
by Devdutt Nayak on Oct 26, 2010 11:58 AM

Google for each of these.
They describe the problem:

Story of Stuff

Fahrenheit 911

Capitalism - A Love story

The war tapes

War is a racket

Power of community - how Cuba survived Peak Oil.

Hubbert's Peak oil

Albert Bartlett's famous lecture on Growth

Gangs of America

Zeitgeist parts 1 and 2

For solutions,
we need to see and implement such things:

Samboja Lestari - redapes

Anna Hazare, Rajinder Singh, Anil agarwal - Water warriors of India - Jal Yoddha

Water Engineering in ancient and medieval Rajasthan.

Baba Ramdev

Yoga taught by anyone, excluding Baba Ramdev
(Osho and Bikram Yoga are known to be risky)

And if you have money to gamble, do NOT trade in stock, invest in good companies and small enterprises from rural India.

Study the Honeybee Network. It is a wonderful and successful group of companies run by rural entrepreneurs.

Use Kiva to help rural entrepreneurs around the world.

Follow TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) on Facebook, Youtube and Twitter.

And a last point everyone seems to miss:
Roughly 50 per cent of humans are female.
And exactly 100 per cent of all humans came from women's bodies - we call them mothers.

It is a statistic that hits you hard when you realise that we have over 3 billion women, and they are all around us, even in corporate offices.

So obviously for human welfare, treat women around you properly :-)

Republic of India and its people
by Pinaki Sur on Oct 26, 2010 11:25 AM  | Hide replies

Although about 100 crores of people live in India but the country belongs to few lakhs out of them. Who are they? Take a look:

•      Political Leaders
•      Approximately 500 MPs and close relatives and cadres of each of these MPs
•      MLAs of approximately 26 states and close relatives and cadres of each of these MLAs
•      MLCs and close relatives and cadres of each of these MLCs
•      Babus associated with MPs, MLAs and MLCs
•      Industrialists
•      Reach to very reach businessmen
•      Bollywood cine stars
•      Cricket Players
•      Mafias of all kind
•      Goons/Drug peddlers

The whole lot of people mentioned above represents Republic of India. All of them are extremely rich and powerful; many of them have unaccountable wealth and immovable properties. This justifies: INDIANS ARE RICH BUT INDIA IS POOR.

India is a country where a Nobel Prize can go missing and world champion Viswanathan Anand finds only his family members to receive him at airport.

Very true mate. While VA finds only his family members, larger than life but useless actors & goon politicians will need police to control the mob.

Amazing analysis. Very thought-provoking. Surprisingly, very few replies to this post. It seems, people are interesting only in trolling and communally charged flames.

The Cunning Selfish Uncle sam

We Indians are so West Worshipper that even a out of track economy like that of America is trying to undermine our national interests despite covertly begging us to buy it's rotten arms and weapons. America knows only how to use and misuse other countries. Even if Pakistan is a known rougue teroorist country America is hell bent upon providing billions of dollar and arms to Pakistani Army. And that too by earning selling its obsolete arms to India. Is Indian leaders so naive not to understand Americn game. In order to woo America we have annoyed China which was once pro India visa-vis Kashmir only a decade ago. Even vajpayee Government maintained shrewed balance between the two super powers. But US has confirmed that it is not going to help or support India at the cost of Pakistan and by annoying China. Hence the Dragon is out to draw full blood in Kashmir and Arunachal. India can't depend on America for support if wars breaks out between India and China or Pakistan, Hence we should buy arms only from Russia (a all weather friend), Israel (a real pro India country) and France (good friend now a days). India's vast market is prompting America to deceive us by soft words but nothibg concrete will come up with this oneseided love affair. So far as Chin's belegerence is concerned India can take care of that along with pakistan But without banking on Uncle Sam. Security Council's ornamental seat will also do no much good to Idna. henec don't run after America for support.

The US did not even spare itself and shamelessly was involved in 9/11. It is a cancer on face of this earth.
