1) Bombay (now Mumbai) 2) Victoria Terminus (now Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus) 3) Prince of Wales Museum (now Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya). The last one really takes the cake.

My dear friend this article is mainly on the buildings built on Gothik sculptures and does not take into account many old structures built by Indians. Do you want to say that other than these buildings there is no any other ancient structures in Mumbai worth mentioning. The Britishers were rulers of India and it was but natural that all the admnistrative buildings would be built by them at that point of time. But have we not built any structure after 1947. Who built Sachivalaya, Amar Building for RBI, Bombay Stock Exchange Building, Oberao Shetaton Hotel, Navi Mumbai Railway Stations, JNPT - Is it not worth noticing just because they are not built with Gothic architecture - Not only Mumbai but every city-town in India has undergone a sea change which is only after we achieved freedom where as the Brithershers only concentrated on places of their admnistration. Now coming to Mumbai in next ten year it will neither belong to Marathis, Biharis, UPans, Bengalis, South Indians , Gujratis - It will belong only to rich people who can afford the flats of not less than 2 to 2.5 crores. All the chawls , housing board colonies , mill land, factory lands, industrial area lands are now in the hands of big builders where towers are coming up - few lakhs will be thrown on your face - and even if you get accommodation in towers at concessional rate whether the chawl people will be able to afford monthly maintenance charge- certainly not -
