It is indeed due to the cruel rule by Muslim rulers that many were forcibly converted/ killed. There is enough historical evidences to prove this.

there is no denial that many were converted by force but more important is they remained n r faithful to their new religion.and u know AR Rahman,kamla das,michael jackson,mohd ali clay and many others on daily basis in europe r getting converted by force into islam-by force of inner will
It's funny, when RSS says they are the only patriotic organisation in India and represents never existed Hindu religion.
To be patriotic, one doesn't need to get associated with neither religion, caste nor region.
If Indian social fabric is confused and intervowen with complex religions, castes, regions, slaves, theological rogues ...we have a united nation called INDIA, when a nation which proclaims to be secular by constitution is existing, why does one need RSS for this?.
If Kanchi Sankaracharya is innocent, noble and not related to any murder, don't India or atleast RSS Hindu or BJP has ONE potent jurist to clear the name of Kanchi Sankaracharya and file perjury and defamation case against Jayalalita or Karunanidhi?.
Case is filed by Jayalalitha regime. Does Jayalalita, an anti-national or christian or muslim to defame nobility of alleged Kanchi Sankaracharya?.
When you can't protect one Kanchi Sankarcharya if he is innocent, RSS doesn't need to be existing at all except for hafta or funds collection to feed the unproductive irrational crooks and slaves....

Court decides who is right or wrong. It is the effected person who has to engage a jurist and prove his innocence or atleast RSS who is saying , Sanaracharya is innoceent , can fight his case.
RSS can fight the case on behalf of Sankaracharya rather than talking nonsense ....

RSS is a coward organisation for not representing the people of organisation . Terrorist organisation or naxal cadre owns the responsibility boldly and thats the reason people respect Naxal cadre or Terrorist organisation more than coward and hypocrite organisation like RSS.
When Gupta and Joshi lately been found guilty in bomb blasts, RSS cowardly escaped. Godse too had the same fate......
If RSS is genuine and procliams Sankaracharya is innocent and noble, it has to fight legally and get Sakaracharya acquitted.
If Sankarcharaya is proven guilty, may be RSS says, Sankaracharaya too not associated with RSS like what happened to Godse, Joshi or Gupta lately.....

The most funniest phrase in the history would be hindu terrorism! I just can't understand how a hindu can be a terrorist. Hinduism is not a united business organisation and hindus need not report to anybody. They are free and always welcome foreign religions and its culture and donated money and space to them. Hindus believed that "adithi devo bhava" (guest is god). So they gave their best to the guest. However, the attitude of hindus been exploited by so-called guests turned invaders. It was like Arabic folk tale"The Camel's Nose In The Tent". Now too, our hard-eanrned tax money is given to appease organised minoroties. Still Hindus cannot do anything becoz, they are not such terrorist or religious breed. Right from the time of Alexander, it was invasion India. India didn't invade any countries. Even now, Pak and Bangladesh are invading India by sending their citizens to India. China also trying their level best. Indians, especially Hindus, are not a reactive and aggressive breed. So the phrase "hindu terrorism" is out of context.

it is true that hindus by n large r good but some organisations (a fringe of people)have indulged in terrorist activities thats where the term came . it is same as islamic terrorism-only a fringe of people r indulging in the terrorism but it is called islamic terrorism.imagine if islam would have allowed all muslims to terrorism then what would have been the scene.naxalism is also a face of terrorism.

why do u think akbar who was tyrant who butchtred many hindus later made peace with them ?
Bcoz he found every time he managed to defeat one set of hindus there would be peace for sometime till they organied themselves and began to attack.....so to rule he had only one choice make peace with hindus...he even went to the extent of trying to promote new religio0n deen-e-ilahi ....but no one joined as it was not forced down the throat of ppl like iislam was.
