Can you explain why Buddhism is almost extinct in India? Why is there hardly ANY Buddhist shrine in Indian mainland that survived?

All buddhist shrines have survived, go to Bihar, Odisha and you will see the Buddhist monuments there.
do we even have to take this guy seriously. i think he also mispalced about the freedom tat indain muslims have within indian compared to anyother in other countries. ,islims have to stopp feeling sorry for them selves and intergrate themselves more towards nation building. the mistakes that nehru has created with special status, reservations, and pointing finger towards hindues for all the misplaced ills of the nation at the door steps of the hindus has only alienated them further. today kashmir does not feel a part of india and so do the muslims who continue to feel seperate. why when actually the governments over the decades have bent back wards to appease them to a point where it could actually break. so trop whining and look at the facts there was a temple which was destroyed over which the babri masjid was built accept it and help the hindu brothers build it. why shouldnt they return all three main temples that have been destroyed over the centuries back to the hindus from the countless ones. that would be a good start to forget and forgive. so the writer should concentrate in improving the lives of his bethren either in pakistan or paletine where real services are needed
