It is said Nalanda took 3 months to b-urn as all library manuscripts and hand written scriptures were b-urnt by Khilji's gang. Can you imagine the loss to human intellectual civilization?
This is the tribal religion of horse riding plundering dacoits of central asia that we are dealing with here.
After reading this article, we may perhaps need to be convinced that it was actually the ASI which brought out the false news about the destruction of the glorious Bamiyan Buddhas by the holy taliban in Afgahnistan. The Bamiyan Buddhas were perhaps destroyed by the Buddhists themselves or by the Americans just to give a bad name to the taliban.

From middle ages to 21st century - Absolutely zero progress. No wonder one of the poorest communities in India too.
standards. Mr khalidi read some manuscripts on read ancient indian civilization and philosophy in the periods before islam appeared, and teach yourself about immense scolarship in those ASI collections. Then connect the dots with medieval and modern periods.
