congress might do better if sonia, rahul do not address mtgs,
by viswanatha seshadri on Nov 28, 2010 01:04 AM  | Hide replies

let their paid-servants in the congress do that. while nehru, indira, rajiv looked indian, sonia and rahul look more italian.
let their servants praise them as queen and prince to promote loyalty, despise hindutva and get votes. some academic like mms can always be found to be placed as pm to take respo without power, after winning election.

state level politics played well by congress.. as its seems here.. everyone knew that its battle between nitish and lalu. and they made it clear to keep lalu away from bihar.. just wait and watch next time.. but this tenure will b tough for nitish as bjp got major seats too.. so lets see where bihar moves after a year

rahul is an example of a pathetic dynasty member
by Prakash Narayanan on Nov 27, 2010 05:06 PM  | Hide replies

Dynasty politics and caste politics has backtracked in the nation now. No Way indians are going to support any of these divisive forces.
Time is now for the development. Narendra Modi, Nitish kumar, Yediyurappa, type of leaders who develop their states are the need of the hour.
While comparing with these leaders, what quality does this Raul is having ? Nothing, absolutely nothing. So he is highly incapable of being a leader in India...

What wrong Rahul did by campaigning
by shareef sa on Nov 27, 2010 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

Yes, congress failed this time. Rebuilding a party by an outsider like Rahul in bihar is challenging, but I am sure it will help reviving the situation once they realize the ground realities.

Is rahul did any crime by campaigning in bihar? If it has not worked out now, it will later. Perseverance is factor.

But he has to assume responsibility that comes with power. Now he has unofficial powers and no responsibility. Let him become a minister first and then start thinking about growing congress. Even Indira Gandhi was I&B minister when Lal Bahadur shastri was PM.
On the other hand, if he shows tokenism by sleeping in huts, eating and dancing with dalits, going about talking negatively about Nitish, Modi etc. then there is no hope left for conparty.
