The Congress appears content to see the RJD dissipate so that it could grab its space politically as the alternative, hence the lack of support to Laloo who certainly helped it in its dark hours. This appears to be the Congress strategy.
The fact that Congress won 21 Lok Sabha seats from UP when it has no organization there cannot be discounted. In Bihar Nitish dissipated the anti-BJP sentiment of minorities by his public objections to Modi, and thereby denied a consolidation of anti-BJP votes. Now how will that happen in UP? What the election has shown is that anti-Modi works not pro-Modi in the Hindi belt, Rahul or no Rahul. Just ask Nitish!

For the cult people, they are both anti-Modi and anti-BJP. So this trick will not work. If the majority of 85% vote for NDA, the 15% minority votes (that too in certain pockets only) will not make much difference. If Nitish had been totally ojected to Modi (mind you, Modi was in Bihar a few months back), then I can agree.

an analysis completely away from truth ! as of i understand, the people of BIHAR seems to have voted in acknowledgement of goog governance and it has got nothing to do with the so called (@@@ Pseudo &&&) secular politics ! even if u belong to minority community, your words cannot be taken .. . . and it is not going to be a easy task, as per ur perception, for the congress to grab the space of RJD, given the fact that LALOOji still enjoys the Charisma, which none of the congress leader, including RAHULji... as of i know from the print and electronic media, nitishji seems to have requested BJP leaders, not to make the election a national issue, as the congress may cash-in... BJP-JDU combine fought the elections on development plank, as was designed by nitish and proved their worth !!! this has got, in my opinion, nothing to do with minority politics !! some weird theory may even go to the extent of suggesting that it is bcas of ayodhya-judgement, congress lost !! funny people !!

In UP, I don't think any one party got more than 25-28% of polled votes. Which means they got divided on caste/religious lines.
i wonder y vry1 is so against rahul n sonia gandhi ? ........ pls know that its becoz of them that india is having prosperity ....... they r educated n thats y we have computers n multinationals in india .... just imagine if nitish or advani were the PM's of india ..... indians wud stiil be wearing dhotis n kurtas ....... be grateful to gandhi family ........

Chennai Dosa, your nick name says it all. Rahul is a dual citizen of Italy and now he has Venizula option also. Gandhi family has looted India since ages. It is well documented that Rajiv Gandhi was corrupt and accepted kick backs and bribes. yesterday one news channel claiming that under the leadership of gadkari, bjp did miracles in bihar, now one ask this question to all biharis that what gadkari has done to bihar.i guess 90% bihari does not know who is gadkari. bjp means atalji and advani and no other leader has ever emrged in bjp.
Bihar result was expected. no central leader can do anyting if there is no solid base in state. people of bihar was fade up with nautanki politics of lalu and rabri.nitish has given them hope , lalu used to sacre muslim by the name of BJP, nitish has given them assuance to be live. during his tenure there was no any single roit in biahr. people says in bihar that because of nitish BJP stop talking about mandir issue after court verdict.he stop varun and modi to visit bihar. that was the master stroke to win the heart of muslim, that is why muslim have suported and vote for nitish and bjp too.
as far as rahul is concerned, he is the candidate of PM-2014, so there is no way for his defeat.when BJP wins election in state they start talking about central rule,they did the same mistake in 2004 after winning the election of mp and rajasthan. i dont think except narendra modi bjp has any charisma leader to challange rahul for next election, but inner rivalry in bjp wont allow modi to come to delhi, and now nitish emerge the biggest rival of modi, and in near future NDA cant dare to make nitish angry.

yes u r right even i am against the family politics, but what to do this our destiny, if you check , all over india every where there is family politics, lalu, karunanidhi, chautala, mulyam, and the list goes on.. rahul atleast trying to learn poltics, if he want to be PM today, no can stop this we all knows including you, but if still he opt to wait then we must respect his decision. in india there will be PM from only two party either from BJP or from congress. since there is no central leadership in bjp hence the there is no competition in next election.

The congi has already proved that EVM are working fine in the state elections, central elections will be a different game or else they may have to vacate 10 janpth which their masters outside India would not like...see they will project some thing against BJP just before 2014 election last two elections you would have already seen that media talka a lot about before elections and after elections no one remembers them as they were just congress propoganda against BJP. thelka of 2002 just before 2004 elections and they use some cheap stuffs to break top leadership of BJP like Bangaru Lakshman episode...so donot worry they will again form the govt and Rahul will be PM thats expected...
