future looks very bleak for India because
by abhishek pushp on Nov 06, 2010 04:35 AM

1. China is already p0_k_i_ng India every now
and then and India takes it lying down.

2. P__rk_i keep s_l@p_p_in_g India at its
will(though supported by US and China), and
India keeps mum.

3. Now India is ready to buy junk US military
equipments to revive the US economy at the
cost of Indian taxpayers money.

4. There's absolutely no guarantee that US
will ever stop supporting P__rkii in favor
of India( even if India helps US economy)

India can only be supported by US only in
one condition, and that's when China starts
increasing its dominance in South Asia and
threatens the US dominance ,but this is a
very complicated scenario and for India to
gain out of this we will require Sound and
strong political leadership( which looks
impossible)

Moreover, As far as India is concerned, it's
direct e_n_em_1_3s are China and Poork111.

Unfortunately India can't count on US to
take on its e_n3m1_3s , simply because US
has never really showed the commitment to
help us rather it has always sided with our
en3m1es.

so all in all India
has a very difficult time ahead.

Who works who earns...
by Komal Rao on Nov 02, 2010 10:14 AM

The India folks have taken the whole service industry by storm.. the US companies pay a lot to us instead of the US folks...they expend we earn..

Now the US companies will sell products in India.. so we will expend and they will earn.. and then we will get all the more to earn in the services related to it..

So i guess that's the way economics goes.. they expend .. we earn.. then we expend...they earn.. and the whole world remains Happy ever after.. what say??

Are we superpower ?
by om shanti on Nov 02, 2010 10:03 AM  | Hide replies

What invention have we made in 63 years after Independence ?

We still donot have our own indigenous:

bullet train
fighter jet
Aeroplane
Metro rail

Nothing which we can boast of except Basmati rice or hapoos mango..even philipinos produce better fruits than us...

We are super power in what sense?

Is there a self respecting Indian among the powers that be to reflect upon?

or they just think attending wedding party of shashi tharoor or vivek oberoi is the greatest achievement of life?

Time to send all dhotiwallahs and topiwallahs to tihar jail..

And I hope brave sardars will stop miaoing infront of a firang maino..

u have a point. and honestly, Indians have never really cared about India as a Nation. Individually, they may excel, but on a collective front, India is way behind.

Access to Indian market
by hillary desouza on Nov 02, 2010 09:02 AM  | Hide replies

The sole purpose of western governments is access to the huge Indian consumers and to sign /negotiate large infrastructure projects in like defence, ports, aviation, power, oil exploration, miming etc. This is the only way for them to relieve domestic economic pressure they face in their country where the jobless rate is creating huge politicalproblems and unrest. They are here to create JOBS in their home country.Indian negotiators need to understand this and put a premium on access to Indian markets.

Americans wants India's cheap labour. So India needs to have a lot of cheap labour and a PM who will clen American presidents shoes. We are dependent on USA for Aeroplanes and a lot of other defnese materials so it is better Manmohan learns the art of shoe polishing properly.
