Can't run trains in your own country? Shame on Govt of India
by Sameer Deodhar on May 30, 2010 05:08 AM  | Hide replies

This a simply the worst step back by the government. Instead of bringing in military to vanquish the maoists once and for all these buggers are just running away from the battlefield.

What a shame that a government agency i.e the railways is scared of maosist and can't guarantee safety of it's own people/passengers.

Why this sabotage is not taken seriously? 136 people died in it, just 30 less than the 26/11 terror attack. Is it any less significant?

I am personally disturbed because I have traveled on it and have fond memories of it. Feeling so bad that this happened one of my favorite train.

Come on government, time for military action. Innocents can't take this filth any more.

Completely agree. This govt. is full of pvssies who sit in AC chambers and have no empathy for the citizens who brought them to power.

Pisses me off big time. The govt. should wage a full scale attack on these maoists and also go full throttle in cutting off their funding. I feel sick when I think of these innocent citizens who've lost their lives for no fault of theirs. Can't the govt. do anything to redeem their deaths?

F@ggots I tell you. Fvcking losers with no spine. Both the maoists and the govt. - one kills people openly, the other silently. Murderers who will rot in their last days.

17 qualities that distinguishes India from the rest
by R on May 30, 2010 04:38 AM  | Hide replies

1)      Most corrupt people – Politicians, bureaucrats, Police, Judiciary, Clerks, Peons, Safai karamchari, Purchase Managers, etc. Corruption is in our blood.
2)      Most discriminative people based on anything - religion, caste, region, sub-religion, sub-caste, gotra, Rich vs. poor, first name, second name, etc. etc.
3)      Allowed terrorism to secure votes in the name of religion, Maoism.
4)      Most unsafe, derogatory to women. Dowry. Pre-natal test and killing.
5)      Carnage on the roads – most killings on road accidents
6)      Most un-civil. We are the oldest un-civilization and continue to be un-civilized.
7)      Most uncaring. If an accident victim lies on the road, we just pass by. Just ignore that the golden hour could save him.
8)      Most aggressive - road rage is an example
9)      Children often fall and die in pits, wells left un-covered by contractors.
10)      Contractors in connivance with corrupt bureaucrats do a poor quality job. As a result the roads get broken in the very first rain.
11)      The begging mafia kidnaps kids (both boys and girls), amputes their arms and legs and send them for begging. This happens only in India.
12)      Maximum mafia culture - land mafia, parking lot mafia, rail reservation mafia, kidnap mafia, you name it and we have it.
13)      Most un-accommodating. If traffic light goes off, we crowd each other and then the traffic just stops. Impatiently, we keep honking.
14)      Most severe shortages - Water, Power, etc. etc.
15)      Least productive. 70% of

Point no.17 is because of the first 16 points! When Indians are selfish to the hilt, whats the harm in being selfish to one's own family and professional career?

All of these stem from MASSIVE population. The more the people, the more the rot and the more the stench. Corruption is a direct result of population. We fvcking breed like rats - pathetic.

Instead of launching a full fledged attack on their challenge.. the GOI cancels night trains..
In the 60 years of Independence, this would be the most shameful decision taken!

Congress is finished.. and Mamata is finishing them very well.

Good that mamta is not a doctor. If you complain to her about acidity, then her solution would be "No food through the mouth ". I remember Mr. Chidambaram sitting in the audience to give confidence that India is a safe country, during the Badminton tournament, Now why doesn't he travel in a train that run via Jharkand, or for that matter any politian..please take a train via Naxal affected areas...

So, Greta Van Susteren, Fox News babbler, got some hate mail telling her how stupid she is. Instead of just chucking it in the trash, or simply making fun of it (the guy made a spelling error, of course), she had to go out of her way to demonstrate that maybe the fellow was right. How? She turned it into an online poll, asking who was dumber, Brian or Greta. The fact that she used a poll made the answer obvious.

Who is dumber?

Greta? 73%
Brian for spending his time watching someone he thinks is dumb 27%

You can see how it is going. Pile on if you want.

I can't believe she did that. Is she really that clueless about the nature of the internet beast?
