by Vijaysingh sharma on Sep 27, 2010 10:31 PM

Age in fact is not handicapping for anything, but body builtup figure is to be healthy and strong to do everything.
Consider,as long as one lives unto this earth ,he requires, all elements,to pacify his physical organs, heart, soul and everything.

Youngman of fifty
by Vijaysingh sharma on May 19, 2010 10:09 PM  | Hide replies

Any human being's maximum age as contained in Rigveda is/was-"Jeeved varsh satam, pashyam varsh satam"(100) In Austrological Works of various scholars about age factor system were "Ashtotari" or "Vinshotari"(80 ,120).So from inception by birth upto the age of 50,each and everybody gets lots of practical running experiences, and he comes to the stage where,he can, welcome positive, and reject negative.Living life is an art learnt by practical experience.By 50 human being can have practical wisdom, which rejects certain things, and tries to adopt realities.Say for example,he learns, whom to own or reject?,calm mental reasoning to feel why should he hurt himself for many things he can avoid.Vikars of vrittis of body and mind come to be under his controle,if he actually gives right thinking for the same.

Hindu mythology and Vedas are far ahead than the entire western wisdom and modern days researchs. Its our sadness or psychic that we are only accepting this truths after validation from west. The language structure, its organisation and lucidity tells us that how great our ancentors were.

There is a truth beyond 50
by VENURAJA Bowenpalle on May 19, 2010 10:32 AM

There is truth in this research in so far as to say that people aged 50 and more do control their emotions very easily. It does not mean that they use repressive methods,it means that they could easily wish away bad memories, avoid them and rise above petty jealousy, habit of worrying and so on.
And also they realise that life is short ,they think that "just another 20 years or so" and get on with the life and happy with whatever that it offers.
They also realise fuitily of accumulation, and too much attachment to things, uselessness in worrying.
By age 50 one most probably would have lost his parents. If he were the eledest son or daughter he/she remembers the troubles, travails and frustrations that their parents had undergone and they feel that all that was waste. What did they take away when they died? is what they start reasoning ?

Age 50 and above people also might have seen premature or accidental deaths of their dearest friends. This also gives them an overview of life ,teaching them lessons that they would not forget. They remember how their friends cried over small and big things and finally they did not carry away anything, nor they lived a life of quiet or peaceful nature but hurried through the life to get nothing but only an untimely death.

Life teaches lessons to everyone, and I am sure by age 50 ,one learns enough of them to be quet,to be peaceful and to know that worrying too much about anything is meaningless.
