Don't fool yourself, let alone others.

Even after the nonsensical propaganda of communal people, Modi has become the CM AGAIN of Gujarat. What better testimony to the fact that the people of his state don't think of him as guilty?

Suffering from selective amnesia then? What about Mumbai blast in 1993 and continuous terrorist attacks from then onwards upto 26/11?

What about Pune Blasts by IM / SIMI?

What about Kashmiri genocide and diaspora?

And how is Kashmir not institutionalized genocide and diaspora of 500000 Kashmiri Pandits?

Is it not the responsibility of J&K CM to ensure their security?

And has any Gujarat Government official even been accused after SC has stepped forget. Forget about trying. Has anyone even been accused?

How Muslims Christians minorities live peacefully across India?
by Shivamogga on May 06, 2010 11:21 AM  | Hide replies

In all the villages, towns & cities in India, for generations, the minority Muslims & Christian communities have lived peacefully & thrived, many times at the expense of Hindu interests. This has been possible due to the innate accomodative nature of Hindus, which has gone beyond convincing limits. "Ati Sarvatra Varjayeet".

Now, Hindus have paid heavy price due to this suicidal tolerance & inactiveness although. Partition of the Nation, secession of huge territories even though India had a formidable military, unfair treatment of Nehru family to Hindus, pseudo secular legislations, encouragement to prosetylization / conversions, etc.

Now, Its time for the Hindus to act, react to defend and secure the interests of the Hindus, thereby securing the interests of the Nation

You have very rightly pointed out an important aspect of communal relationship in India. A real and truthful research would promoinenetly have pointed to that, which this MIT reserch is not. And look at those who have contributed to this MIT research.

Does MIT promote technology?
by Manoj Dev on May 06, 2010 11:12 AM

India baiting is very easy. Would MIT or Prof Brass would have the courage to research and publish the state of religious minorities in Pakistan or even Bangladesh since 1947, how their numbers have dwindled to the present insignificant? For that fact, what about Kashmir - where and why have all the Pandits gone as well as what is the demographic situation now compared to that in 1947?
Best to ignore these researches but it pains to see that people of Indian origin are also involved in such India baiting. One also wonders - what purpose does spending on such at best frivolous researches/projects serve MIT!

We Indians did not like
by Krishna on May 06, 2010 11:07 AM  | Hide replies

But for AR Rahman, Slumdog Millionaire is a pathetic movie as far as the pride of us Indians are concerned. But the point is, is it not a false pride. How far we shall hide ourselves from reality. In which country other than India you can find that the mother can kill her own daughter because she brought shame to the family. In which country you will see that the village council is giving death sentence to young couples because they chose to marry within the same gotra (God knows what it means). Yes you are right, parhaps Pakistan. Lets face it, we Indians are extremely violent people. I often wonder that people like Buddha and Gandhi are born in this country. Parhaps they are famous because they are exceptions.

Gandhi was very violent. Not through his direct actions, but blackmailing like a petulant kid whenever he didn't get what he wanted. Always threat with fast unto death. Like an autocrat.

Buddha was very peaceful. But remember, human race is no better than other animals. We think of ourselves as most intelligent, but kill our own kind even if we don't wish to eat. Ever see any animal commit such stupidity?

Well said NG-you talk of fair debate and honest soul searching OK- We have gandhi coming out of our ears-Why not debate the defence presented in his statement when Nathuram Godse stood trial where he explained why he killed Gandhi- I do not say his argument was correct or wrong, but why BLACK IT OUT? Why not a TV debate o 'Face the Nation" "The buck stops here" or "Question Hour" on prime time discussing the assasination of Gandhi with BOTH sides presenting their views? Why not? Simply because Godse's defence was so very terrific that it is difficult to fault it on LOGIC. Therefore, black it out and demonize him- Gujarat??? Deja-vu isn't it?
