i pity the people here who are commenting on bengalis , its nothing to do with them . It was a army godown.
Bengal played a big part in indias independence but it has been let down by secularist and leftist. the people are very nice, i say so because of personal experience.
i have travelled extensively throughout india(jammu to hyderabad ) and i think people from orissa and bengal are one of the most warm hearted and genuine.
they have bought the leftist ideology but this marxist and leftist ideology is not indian.
Just like congress adopted the british policy of divide and rule.
yes the atmosphere is bit lax , they take things easy(lazy) and the like but they are less corrupt than the likes of congress and BJP.
its a pity that calcutta which saw a lot of development earlier is now being ignored by national goverment. Even 10 years back the jam in calcutta were so bad. so much noise pollution.its sad how we can let the city decline which has so much history to it including indias independece struggle.

2010 seems to be an year of fire...and all major fire accidents...are terrorists trying to take this route now? some probe is definitely required..or is it the beginning of the prediction of world ending in 2012 becoming true?

hmm accident
by gurpreet johar on Mar 26, 2010 10:22 AM

well remember last time there was a fire in oil depot. well sometimes these fires in goverment godowns is not really an accident. the steal the oil and when they were doing some investigation into it by auditers , an accident happened.
well so easy to say that we lost x amount when in reality that x amount includes the stolen stuff. here also i doubt what is the reason of the fire.

probe all major fires, both civil and military.
by iviltakeu on Mar 26, 2010 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

We request the IB and home ministry to probe all major fire incidents that are happening in our country,be it a fire in major mall, hospital or army amunination depot, this is for sure handiwork of antinationals,ISI,their illegal sons of SIMI and Indian Murdajeen. probe and ensure it does not repeat as this could lead to serious security problems, I think M workers in these organisation and M resideing in and around act hand in golve for providing vital information about these sensative installations, therefore govt should ban residential and commercial establisments in the immediate vicinity of these installations.

India Needs big arms to tackle Pakisthan and China Prop. If small arms are available it may go to maoist. so better let it burn.
