If it was so very incusive why people have run away from it in many states for a very long time?
Today's Congress party is of the Sonia Parivar for the Sonia Parivar and by the highly selfish Congressmen without any backbone. No Congressman can ever dare to say anything against anyone from the Parivar.
Pre independence Congress Party was a group of renouned personalities having divergent views, but with only aim of freeing the country from the British clutches. Once Netaji had even defeated a candidate supported by Mahatma Gandhi for the post of Party President. Can any Congressman dare to hv dissenting views from the Sonia Parivar even in his dreams? Impossible.

there is one great notion of party whip in India Sir, and apart from sonia parivar, no other parivar or sang can actually go againt the party !! funny stuff, everyone out there runs the party and not the nation. The nation is rather run by our few honest beureacrats and public spirited citizen..... and this should also account the great india appeal towards "chalta hai yaar!!"

No, what he told it is right. If shastry did not die and ruled India 5 years , surely India become good and prosparous country. shastry was the firat and last truth and honest and without taking any money in bribe P.M. of India. If he alived Gadhi family may be stayed in London and do not ahppen so much corruption or bad politics in India.

Dr Guha makes the blunder of mistaking the INC of Mahatma Gandhi with the Congress of Rajeev and now Sonia/Rahul Gandhi. Do not forget the muslim hatred of Hindus and how the nation was divided by muslims. They should have been sent packing to Pakistan in 1947-48. Congress and Left have imported millions of muslims from Bangladesh. In secular India today, J&K wants freedom, muslims and christians have special laws of their liking, while Hindu laws and social systems have been destroyed legally. Muslims/christians can have religious schools, but not Hindus!! Muslim/christian masjids and churches are not controlled by Govt, but Hindu temples are! That is all doing of post independence Congress, which Gandhiji wanted dissolved. BJP wants uniform civil laws, no special status to J&K, Babri masjid issue resolved by mutual consent of the community, but Congress is against it to hold on to muslim votes. Congress has recreated muslim aggressiveness and hatred against Hindus and terrorism against India since 1989, to keep herself in power. Divide and rule anti-national policy is being followed by post independent Congress, not BJP. You have NOT lived in India, did not see India before and immediately after independence and only read the rubbish of Indian English media apparently. For a Berkeley faculty, it is inexcusable. Very well said !!!! Rajendra. You are real Indian man. Such people are needed in India. I feel some cheating is happened during elections. We should fight as hindu not as a community or caste. I feel we will see a day that our India will have 50%christians, 30% muslims and hindus will will be only 20%.A christian see to it that he will help only christian and a muslim the same. But hindu will help everybody why is that ?

in 62 years of independence, 9 years were ruled by others and the remaining 53 years by congress.....do u like the way the country is right now? and do u think the 9 year rule was the problem or the 53 year rule!

No.1 in corruption No.1 in corrupt political leaders. No. 1 in Swiss bank account with black money No.1 in crorepathis and poor No. 1 in farmers suicide No. 1 in lack of infrastructure No.1 unemployment and job loss No.1 in sold & paid media No.1 in inept political leaders unable to even stand against Paki No.1 is politicians fighting to loot maximum share of public money No.1 in minority appeasement No.1 in politicians promoting dynasty rule and many many more No.1.
