Indira destroyed internal democracy in Cong Party
by Ram Sharma on Jun 26, 2010 06:20 PM  | Hide replies

Indira destroyed internal democracy in Cong Party and made it a personal property of Indira Parivar. She did not believe in collective decision making. Sanjay was made so powerful in the party & govt. After his death, she introduced Rajiv in the party. After her assasination, Rajiv became all powerful due to parivarwad. Sometime after his assasination, Sonia became all in all in the party. Now the party is in the grip of Sonia, Rahul & Priyanka. It is mockery of democracy.

such a big venture like the UC cannot be the decession of arjun singh alone and the consent of rajiv gandhi and other congress top brass were fully hand in glove pertaining to the UC venture.so it's pointless to blame arjun singh alone
after all we are discussing post mishap events here and not the formation of the UC.being the prime minister rajiv gandhi could'nt have overlooked it;neither politically nor judicially,if your argument says so than the more grave question arises about RAJIV GANDHI's incapability and the gandhis infidelity in indianhood.
thus making arjun a scapegoat would not let the gandhis off the gallore from this mass kiling, infact to do so would be to authorise them to plan another disaster in the form on nuclear arrangement-which would even be much more disustrious in the happening.
WAKE UP INDIA /IT'S YOUR NATION AND NOT THE GANDHIS.BE LOYAL TO YOUR OWN COUNTRYHOOD AND NOT TO THE BLIND GANDHIHOOD.

Congress and corruption, both are inseparable
by Sachidanand Shetty on Jun 26, 2010 06:08 PM

Congress and corruption, both are inseparable. There is widespread impression that failure of integrity is common among ministers. They have enriched themselves illegitimately and reaped other advantages inconsistent with any notion of purity in public life. There were numerous incidents of corruption in the previous Congress governments. Latest, during UPA rule is alarming. It has surpassed all the previous records of corruption. This time, with all their alliance partners have indulged in corruption with a new concept of ?Aam Aadmi?.

The award of the 2G GSM licenses to new mobile and CDMA operators has created a huge controversy. The extent of money lost by the country is estimated to be many times more than Rs. 1,00,000 crore, with companies who have got their new licenses, selling them within a few months for 6-7 times of what they paid. This appears to be a plain and simple loot of the exchequer by quoting the spectrum licenses cheaper and allow the companies to resell market value without any restrictions.

Telecom Minister Mr. Raja and the current cabinet are solely responsible for the scandalous decision to allot spectrum on a first-come-first offer.

It is a known fact in Indian politics that Vajpayee was a great follower of Nehru's practice of parliamentary democracy and he was charmed by his way of functioning. So his party will practise the same thing as has been the culture of congress. How do you expect BJP to be a god-send party to change our country into a Ram-rajya. And by criticizing BJP the ills of Congress does not get washed.

Mr. Advani, your own partymen are worse than congressmen now...
by Gururaj S on Jun 26, 2010 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

If you look at the mockery of democracy happening in Karnataka today, you will have to think twice why BJP had to come to power!

A honest judge like Justice Santosh Hegde is being harassed by non-cooperation by your corrupt ministers led by a powerless CM BS Yediyurappa.

A minister who molests his friend's wife is beig protected thru false ill health and given sanctuary in govt hospital.

Hasn't BJP lost its morals somewhere long ago? Congress probably looks better. I say this bitterly, though I am a (or was a?) supporter of BJP.

Sir,
I live in bangalore. I know how the prosecution is working. How the high court has to pull up the chief medical officer to explain the 'treatment' being given. If Congress is bigger criminal, BJP is no saint in these cases.
I say this bitterly, even while I sympathized with BJP but now unhappy with their dirty dance of power.

BJPs 6 years regime
by Sachidanand Shetty on Jun 26, 2010 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

BJPs 6 years regime was a good government for Nation's development and checked on food price rises for all Indian citizens.

Golden Quadruples: Infrastructure development
Sarva Siksha Abiyan (SSA): For providing education to all
Initiated Study panel to link all Indian rivers: For agriculture / economy development
Pokran Nuclear test: To proclaim world that is India is technically capable and changed India’s role in world as dictating country instead just listening country
Good management of economy: Part of India’s loan repaid
Look east foreign Policy: Instead of running behind western countries, concentrate on Eastern countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia etc and get the items cheaply
Initiated Muslim / Hindu leaders dialog: To solve Ayodya issue amicably as the court is delaying its verdict & as 2/3 majority not available to pass a motion like Shabanu case.
Implementing Laws Like POTA: Which will make the Indian origin people fear to help / support foreign origin Terrorist activities to control terrorism
Abdul kalam as President & George Fernandez as Defense Minister: Shown people that BJP is Secular / Patriotic Indians will always get their deserving positions
Effective control of TRAI: Which made the cell phone network revolution in India
Effective control of Railways: Which become base for current development in railways.
