Are our own Mumbai Society Ladies care, feed and look fater their pets more than their husbands. Then why we call Oz hypocrites. When you raise an accusing finger, the other three fingers are pointing towards you.Basic behavioral patterns, instincts, are similar irrespective of country,or skin.If you look at all problems from this angle, i think we will have lesser prejudices and our own opinions in life will never be biased.

Right, as most of the African countries are under fed and malnutritioned, why un necessary kill the animals by firing on them and let them rot on land, why not put a global tender to cut the animals and send the meat to poor african countries which can feed the population for months. This will reduce the camel population in Australia as well as feed a poor nation.

Use Logic, what you said is very true for ecological balance. by feeding the hungry but if it has to be fed let it be in india because we have the most hunger deaths. but hunger in todays world is not because of food shortage it is because of unfair distribution wealth and inequality of modern society.

What is the use? After eating freebies, they will produce more kids. Then you have to supply camels for them again and one day all the camels will be extinct in Australia. Then what will those children do?

Do'nt try to justify k_i _lling of anima1s by making such argument. Do you know why plants bear fruits? Anima1s who eat them act as agents to disperse and help it spread. It is a phenomenon of symbiosis. You do;nt k ill plants to eat its furits. You can equate both if you wait for animal to die naturally before you eat it.

What fact? Again you are justifying k_ lling of anima1s. Plants do'nt die by giving fruits? The pain is only negligible compared to the pain a mother faces while giving birth. Becuase it is worth it. IT is nature.
Do you know why when any one p _ricks you or when you touch a hot object? Because we have nervous system which sends the message immediately to the brain. but plants do not have that. They only react to the stimulation chemically. They have only stimulus and response. Like animals they do'nt have sentiments and emotions. You tame animals which recognize you trust you and one fine day you cut their head.

Most people will be sad if this goes ahead and if the Camels are indeed killed. So is this article going to help us change our character and preception towards the world? Can be build ourselves well and be more vegetarian, not being responsible for anybodys death ? I feel that people are non-vegetarian not because of need, but because they feel they'll be considered outdated or unfashionable if they are vegetarian. Believe me thats not the fact and Vegetarains are admired even by Non Vegetarians though in a hush-hush tone.

Are yaar..... do you know who these australians are
In late 1700 and early 1800 Australia was an uninhabited landmass. All the biggest criminals especially in UK and other European countries were sent for exile in Australian deserts. So all these australians of now have criminal ancestors who were deported from UK. How do you expect them to act better? Crime is inthier genes.. hereditary

racism against the camel
by Jaganath Bharat on Jan 21, 2010 03:26 PM  | Hide replies

This is proof white people want to dominate over all living things even if they do not deserve it. They're ready to kill 6000 camels that are native to the desert-land. Instead of sending non-native white people home, they try to balance ecology by eliminating the natural. Anybody see the contradiction?

Your point is accepted and agreed that this shouldn't have happened because Hinduism doesnt encourages killing or causing grievous harm. It was wrong and all Hindus should try to prevent a reoccurrence.

Double standards of rich countries
by sparx sparx on Jan 21, 2010 03:04 PM  | Hide replies

Instead of donating surplus camels to poor countries like somalia where peopel suffer for food, ozzies just want to kill them, so that poor countris never get enough food and thus will always be embroiled in poverty, crime and terrorism and wedst will get diamonds at cheap price.
