India did not cower this time
by sagar ganguli on Jan 08, 2010 08:44 AM  | Hide replies

It was relieving to see this time tha India did not recoil before the Chinese blabber-mouth. India showed its grit too by not stopping Dalai Lama from visiting the Twang region and the Moanasteries there. the more we do the Chinese Dragon will peter out. But then we need courageous leaders at the helm of affairs.

Mr Intelligent! so dont you see China's recent acts as increasingly threatening. People like you and selfish JLN who were overconfident and complacent led India to a humiliating defeat in 61.

It was 1962, idiot! And the Chinese didn't occupy India after it over run India either. The Chinese gave back what they colected from the high tailed Indian soldiers, all the weaponries. If the Chinese really want to occupy norther India, or even the whole India that time, they would have done so already. That tells a lot about the Chinese intention. Thus, we can only conclude that, China have no interest of going to war with any country at all. You, Indians and Westerners are just too paranoid. Scared of seeing the rising power of China. Wake up, all you war loving idiots

Defence Doctrine
by sridharan r on Jan 08, 2010 08:34 AM  | Hide replies

We cannot afford to be fooled by China again after the 1962 military fiasco. Unfortunately, we do not have at the moment a strong politcal leadership that can effectively counter the Chinese offensive that is occasionally visible across the borders and on the diplomatic front. One hopes our armed forces are strong enough to tackle any threat, despite this weakness.

The Chinese didn't occupy India after it over run India in 1962, what make you think the Chinese have any interest of going to war with India now? The Chinese won the war, gave back all the weaponries they colected from the high tailed Indians. If the Chinese really want to occupy any part of India, they would have done so already. They don't have to wait till now. That tells a lot about the Chinese intention. Thus, we can only conclude that China have no interest of going to war with any country at all. China don't have to. They crushed India once, they can always do it again. They just have no interest to.

Back stabbing and crushing are different things. What china did in 1962 was back stabbing and that certainly is not going to be repeated again.

in 10,000years of its history, India has never invaded any country, nor tried to expand its frontiers.
It is laughable if china and pakistan think that India wants to attack them.

regarding China
by suryanarayanan ramesh on Jan 08, 2010 08:25 AM  | Hide replies

V the Indians regarded very highly about Chinese once upon atime on par with our Japenese counterparts.

But today, the Scenario is entirely different for Chinese by our countrymen because of their unwanted acts towards us & trying 2 sabotage us in many aspects right from border isu's & aggressive postures & their support towards our main enemy Pakistani's.

Let the Chinese understand how much India's trade agreement with them which is fetching revenue & good things to their countrymen in all aspects right from food restaurant/Education/setting of Companies etc.,

Why this kind of unruly act?

If it continues, our country cancel all the bilateral agreement since V cannot tolerate such kind of nonsense henceforth.

suri(if i may call you that), we need to grow up & understand that we need to put our defence infrastructure in place. We need the will & foresight to become stronger. Only then will the world respect us more. China, in recent times have gained the respect of the world both economically & for their military growth.

We need to stop depending on other outside factors & build our own selves.

Hope u have a wonderful 2010.

China is Asia! We should embrase each other, insteat of at each other's throats. Only when Asian Nations join hands, then and only then, we can cast out all the colonizers such as Europeans and Americans (Caucasions). Asians and the rest of the world had been Caucasionized far too long that we do what the West had hope to see us do, that is at each other's troats. We should stop that kind of mentality my friends.

Its true that China is a bigger threat to India not because its militarily stronger but it plays its cards silently and relentlessly unlike Pakistan.
Secondly our politicians are so hypnotized by western directives that they may fail to see larger game plan of west in international politics. So yes India , be on guards ! .....But this is also true that its in India's favour to hold the western line as far as present geopolitical scenario.
