Biased news again
by Mr Walker on Feb 17, 2010 11:32 AM  | Hide replies

See the wordings of this news and the ones that "praised" Rahul.

This is what is called as media bias, while whatever Congress does is praised if the opposition does same thing it is ridiculed with sarcasm.

You are right, if Rahul travels in local train in Mumbai with the help of huge security he becomes hero. Somebody is doing good things media says its politics. We have long tradition of Media Supporting congress.

I DISS-AGREE with CONGRESS as the only Hope....

non of the national level parties have given or natured anyone from this community, but always take pride in having dinner / lunch / and sweet talk with them.

I was watching Rahul's visit to Mumbai, he did visit a place in mumbai and offered flowers to ambedkar satue, and can see all the top political leader from Maharastra waiting for him, to be honest, if they had spend time in really doing development work Dalit community, they will not need to do wait for anything... votes will automatically come

Greatest scam of all time!!
by SSK on Feb 17, 2010 11:22 AM  | Hide replies

Search for 'Spectrum Scandal – 10000 crore to sonia gandhi’s account' you'll know many things abt this lady.

Between December 26, 2007 and January 5, 2008, Ms. Sonia Gandhi was sent Rs. 10,000 crores in dollars equivalent by Raja’s benefactors into her Cayman Island Bank of America account, which incidentally Rahul Gandhi also operates.
This was at the time of the allocation of 2G spectrum on first-come-first-served basis and on prices fixed in 2001. Indian pro congress media delibretely kept mum on this.

10,000 crores is a petty sum when compared to what Sonia Antonio Maino and Raul John Paul (AKA Rahul Gandhi) are raking in everyday. An estimate is hard to make, but they are getting about Rs. 1000 crore/day in the kickbacks from all the ministries.

When you search for it you get a no name blog with references to subramanyaswamy, someone who is obviously biased in his views. So this is a scandal that no one in the media (not even the international media, which obviously isn't "bought by the congress") has heard of, but you apparently know about.

Stop spreading false information to try and change people around to your viewpoint. Put forth a legitimate argument instead. The fact that you have to make up scandals to discredit the congress shows how weak your argument is.

International media is not bothered about indian corruption scandals, it is more harping on rights of people and industrial growth figures.Though have you forgotten @ Mr natwar singh ?

Agreed mr Swami is biased in his views ,but can you be sure that the Whole lot of Congress ministers who have been awarded / ewarded with scandal have taken all money for themselves and except these people , so called gr8s like panab mookerjee and Sonia maino and raol ghandhi are pristine.
If you believe so , then you are naive.

Why is Gov burying silently MEGA TELECOM SCANDAL
-2001 rates applied in the year 2007 - WHY
-First cum First serve basis – What was the hurry
-No of applicants restricted – WHY
-Submission/cut off date advanced – WHY
-sold at throw away price - WHY
-How many allotted cos owned by DMK cotrie

Swan Telecom sold 45 per cent stake to the UAE-based Etisalat for Rs 4,100 crore ($900 million). This was Rs 2,450 crore more than what its promoters paid to acquire the licences in February 2008. Mr Raja Telecom Min is misleading Parliament on the issuance of new telecom licences at throw away prices costin the exchequer a whopping Rs 1,00,000 crore loss . Would any sensible minister justify this
DMK insisted TELECOM and TRANSPORT Ministry in 2009 – WHY

Circus
by kuchbhee on Feb 17, 2010 11:22 AM  | Hide replies

It has long been a fad to indulge in romanticizing poverty. We take the cameras into the kitchens of poor people (or whereever it is permitted). Show the world how poor they are and weave a story line there and expect the world to sob along. Then try to excite people and generally incite them to revolt (against whom God only knows). This circus will continue unless and until Indian media which is like a dumb adoloscent girl (there are exceptions though to this), becomes a responsible middle aged house wife.

I am sure Gadkari is taking provisions for cooking food whereever he goes. Because that Dalit may not have provisions (or so the media says) to feed every one who visits him for a camera op.

Mr.Gadkari must note that the so called 'glam' quotient is confined to the Gandhi family. The charisma and the family weight. No one gives a hoot if Gadkari goes to a Dalit's place to dine.

We respect Gadkari for all he had done in terms of infrastrutural initiatives in the city of Mumbai. probably, he should continue on that end to earn respect rather than chase photo ops.
