if caste system is completely dismantled, first thing to collapse will be MuslimTyranny of 1000 years in india.. their ability to convert others.. Just imagine the JehadisShitt1ng in their pants at the sight of 80 crores Hindus standing united... unlike the past when only handful of kshatriyas were ordained to fight/defend the nation/hind.uism from invadrs
Just reading the comments on this board is enough to give people an insight into how BJP supporters think. When rahul does something, they criticize it, but when gadkari does the same thing, they praise it.
Blind adulation is dangerous. Judge the actions on their own, not based on the preconceptions you have of the people doing the actions. Allow for the possibility that Rahul is actually trying to work for change, and don't judge him simply because he comes from a particular family. Judge people based on their actions, not based on what the stereotyped conceptions of them are.

After 60 years of feudal politics Rahul suddenly talks of change....hahaha. Do you know why Dalits stopped voting for congress in UP, because congress is a Brahmin party.

-Why is Gov burying silently MEGA TELECOM SCANDAL -2001 rates applied in the year 2007 - WHY -First cum First serve basis – What was the hurry -No of applicants restricted – WHY -Submission/cut off date advanced – WHY -sold at throw away price - WHY -How many allotted cos owned by DMK cotrie
Swan Telecom sold 45 per cent stake to the UAE-based Etisalat for Rs 4,100 crore ($900 million). This was Rs 2,450 crore more than what its promoters paid to acquire the licences in February 2008. Mr Raja Telecom Min is misleading Parliament on the issuance of new telecom licences at throw away prices costin the exchequer a whopping Rs 1,00,000 crore loss . Would any sensible minister justify this DMK insisted TELECOM and TRANSPORT Ministry in 2009 – WHY

It has long been a fad to indulge in romanticizing poverty. We take the cameras into the kitchens of poor people (or whereever it is permitted). Show the world how poor they are and weave a story line there and expect the world to sob along. Then try to excite people and generally incite them to revolt (against whom God only knows). This circus will continue unless and until Indian media which is like a dumb adoloscent girl (there are exceptions though to this), becomes a responsible middle aged house wife.
I am sure Gadkari is taking provisions for cooking food whereever he goes. Because that Dalit may not have provisions (or so the media says) to feed every one who visits him for a camera op.
Mr.Gadkari must note that the so called 'glam' quotient is confined to the Gandhi family. The charisma and the family weight. No one gives a hoot if Gadkari goes to a Dalit's place to dine.
We respect Gadkari for all he had done in terms of infrastrutural initiatives in the city of Mumbai. probably, he should continue on that end to earn respect rather than chase photo ops.
Congress has been in power for 55 years of the total 60 year of independence of India, but they did nothing to abolish the caste system and create a unified india.
instead they went about further fracturing the country, by dividing states on basis of language instead of administrative ease therby dividing the people further.
not satisfied with that they went about contradicting the constitution which states that india is a soverign, socialist, secular, democratic republic by providing reservations on basis of caste which now they are extending on basis of religion.
India is a classic case of a great country with bad administrators. and the intelectually bankrupt congress is now prompoting rahul gandhi as a leader and PM - which implies there is no leader in congress worthy of the post after existing for over 100 yrs. rahul achievemnts are doing farce like eating at dalits hut, doing some labour work for photo-ops, travlling in mumbai trains with 22.5k policemen, removing cash from ATM's etc. these qualify rahul to be a PM !!!

Not a strong supporter of Congress here either. Nevertheless, that attitude to blame congress for all the debacles cries for some soul searching. Congress ruled country more than any other party. Sure. But we are a federal democracy. States have independent administrative domains. West Bengal, Maharastra, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, kerala. Howmany congress governments have we seen contonuously after independence ?
As regards to states based on language. How else would the then leaders have envisioned the administrative regions. They thought it is apt to group 'birds of same feather/topngue' to facilitate better administration. How could they visualize there would emerge scoundrels who say 'Marathi manoos' or 'Kannadiga's only' or 'Dravids versus Aryans' and create divisions among people.
How would you abolish caste system ? With a magic wand ? Empowerment , development and all these power phrases look great on a piece of paper. But when it comes to implementing, you face scoundrels who , with the help of unsuspecting , illeterate demogogues oppose you. can you win a local thug no matter how strong your intentions are ?
Imagine what would have happened if the circus we saw last week about a movie turned in favor of Thakre. Or people gave in to the extortive tantrums.
It takes time. In a country like India it takes decades if not centuries - more.
