Which TALKS is INDIA Waiting on?
by Bhupinder Guleria on Feb 15, 2010 11:38 AM

Come on guys. First, take up the issue of Telengana without looking at the consequencies and now Indo-Pak talks without looking at the consequencies.

Hope people now should understand that this politics is now taking everybody for granted.

People with Z Z Security are talking about such issues and people with 0 Security are the ones to pay for. Its very easy to talk with 20-25 commandos who are there to die for a single person v/s 1 person who can blow 20-25 people when and whenever.

Responsibility of Media
by om shanti on Feb 15, 2010 07:29 AM

Indian media has expanded exponentially in last 10/15 years and those who are getting employment in media are their family's first generation into journalism and news reporting..

Same way, these Media houses are into gross commercialisation by creating sensational journalism only for the sake of revenue generation.

It is hight time, the media houses exhibit restrain. They should organise workshops on right kind of reporting aided by Veteran journalists of the country.

National security, internal relation, international relation are today at stake due to gross negligence on the part of reporting.

Media has to rise to the occassion,or else there may be a need for the government to unveil draconic laws curbing the reporting freedom of bullish media of the country.India is a new democracy, and it is expected that it will mature in next one or two decades in all aspects.

And it is also equally important that the common man has to grow and get out of psyche of being fed with sensational tough all the time...

I want 2 express my views with all indians.since it is a very sensible nd emotional issue so i would advice nd request every should read my message carefully I am aganist terrorism nd so is every1.watever happend in 26/11 is un-forgiven nd want to see those culprits behind jails or hanged.but now the question arise who was against 26/11 or the recent pune blast.now its an open secret o evry1 that pakistan was against 26/11 but is it truth.?dont get hyper !wait let me finish my question 1st.our indian govt & media told us that it was done by pak since they have kasab nd evidence.now lets us face the reality.let us see through practical way.india claimed that we got clues of 26/11 frm Usa Fbi.it is same Fbi who is proctecting headly.he was an fbi agent and later Cia agent according to usa.if usa is so helping hand to india then why dont they gave us access to interogate headly.our indian agencies cant even talk to him.now 2nd thing again usa Fbi informed indian agencies 24 hrs ago tht there would be an attck in pune.i dnt knw how much there is a hand of pak in it but i can feel something fishy by usa as there is a possiblity oh his hand also behind 26/11 nd the recent pune attack since the english men always want to divide india nd pak,s relation on serious matters when it matters.. they dont want india pak shld have gud relations with each other.the situation does point so as pak india were going for peace talks..big conspiracy behind this..think frm ur mind not frm heart..

Although your English is rather difficult to comprehend I did manage to get your point. I agree with you that Anglo Saxons want to keep India and Pakistan divided, but what about Hindu-Muslim rivalry before the English even came to India? It's an old rivalry and it began from the day Islam first came to India. Hypothetically, Pakistan was born when Islam first came to India under the banner of Mahmud of Ghazni. The partition of 1947 is just a modern day manifestation of the truth about the uselessness of trying to build bridges with Pakistan. The English could never have divided India if the Muslims didn't want seperation. There can be no smoke without fire.

Be vigilant and a sharp eye for your neighborhood....

Our Intelligence gathering is slowly but surely sharpening its skills. Our part as a good citizen is to have patience and allow the authorities to zero in on the culprits. Ours is a huge country and our immediate western neighbor which lives on alms and aid is hell bent to play spoilsport. Sixty two years is a long time since Independence. Every opportunity was given to both countries since 1947. India was always looked at with colored glasses by literally every country, be it near or far. Today India is a shining Icon, as an exceptional success story. Imagine the jealousy within the hearts and minds of those who broke off and are today a confirmed failed state. More such incidences will happen and we should not get carried away. Remain focused and be as much prepared as possible. Please do remember that for this one incidence there could have been ten others, which would have happened if not for our security forces. I have tremendous faith in our establishments and excellent work is being done for sure. Having said this, my deep felt condolences lie with the family and friends of the victims in this horrific mayhem. May their untimely demise be a reminder, to all of us to be vigilant and keep a sharp eye on our neighborhood. Inform anything unusual to the authorities please.

This is the correct approach. We will solve one problem at a time. I admire PC for taking on the Naxal problem quite methodically.

Continue this sham of peace talk with Pak and people will continue to get butchered at will, OR take stern action and finish off the terrorists once and for all. The congress will not do that because we pride ourselves at not atacking anyone in 10000 years even though others have raped at will. Thats India a weak and pathetically managed country.

Peace with Pakistan
by Dhakshinamurthy Murthy on Feb 14, 2010 09:41 PM

If we have not learnt from our sixty year neighbourly experience, then we need to get our heads examined. Pak will never allow us to live in peace. If full scale war is not possible, then they will successfully bleed us though thousand cuts - with due help from 'local hands', seculars wearing their bleeding hearts on their shoulders and our politicians who will tomorrow confer Bharat Ratna on Afzal Guru if it will them a few abject votes. Doubly-honourable actors and actresses, honourable because they are in the noble profession of acting and doubly honourable because they are Muslims, who want cultural exchange and Pakis to take a part of our pie, should ask for permission from Kargil widows. No politician nor a secularist lost even a milli meter of their nail in terrorist attacks or wars. The medals awarded to the brave soldiers who defended them in the Parliament attack have right been given back to the Government. The security is now our concern, u trusted the politician with it and see what has been happening with sickening regularity. We have not shown enough moral indignation and they have no interest in protecting the ordinary man's life. Now they'll preach communal harmony should be preserved. this 'dastardly' act should be condemned etc. We are sick of hearing these homilies. Nothing is every going to change, it can only get worse. The terrorists have proved they can strike any time, any place. Be grateful to them for their restraint.

How can u call such a person a right lunatic? He has given facts. Go through the facts and then if u still feel the same, then I feel sorry for you. Just think about the lakhs of people who have fallen to terrorism. Our politicians are weak kneed persons who willwant to continue the peace process under pressure from US.

It is not going to work
by Rk Sharma on Feb 14, 2010 09:38 PM  | Hide replies

Well Dr Anil is right, it has worked for centuries and it won't work ever, let me ask one simple question, these so called elite class and seculars in India, do they ever have looked in history, well Sonia Gandhi doesn't need to , she is not born here, why will she care for our country,Rajiv Gandhi made one mistake and so called seculars will rule us for next 100 years, go and study invasions of Muslims and what they did to us, look at there history, how much they hate us, remember Prithviraj Chauhan's forgiving attitude, what happened in the end with him, Hindu girls marry muslims, have you ever seen other way around in life (unless Hindu boy agrees to Islam), well basic premises of Muslims is hate, they are not going to let India progress ever, SRK kids haven't died, nor i ever heard any politician getting killed, it is all for common men/women, India can't and won't ever become super power, we have Muslims inside country hating us and Muslims as our neighbors hating us, half of south India is already christian, end result it is no real Hindu india anymore, so seculars have played mathematics well, anyway it is not my job to save country, who knows if i am even allowed to state these scientific facts or not in media

Wonder how you north Indians are so ignorant of South. From where did you get that number that half of south is Christian. True, there are more Christians in South than north (compare that to 5% to 3%).
