best way is not to discuss pak in any forum & they will callapse. Why are we paying attention & wasting time on pak.We have other important business to do.Let them cry.We should not pay any heed or react.Keep your borders well guarded & don't complain of infiltrations.Complaining & crying for help before USA are not going to help ourselves,We have to help ourselves.
Well done!I agree that there should be total disconnection alongwith sports. These bollywood stars should take permission from the govt if they speak on behalf of India.

Not discussing is not likely to solve the problem. Discussion is required because sooner or later Indians will have to face it: "do or die",i.e. either destroy Pakistan or allow them to destroy India.

Although Pakistan has left no scope to avoid this question, Indians are submerged in a pool of self imposed dishonesty about that question. Pakistan has been systematically suborning Indian political processes and public opinion, and hardly any Indian today has the honesty to call the spade a spade.

Rationalizations will not make the genie of Pakistan go away. Will Power to look at it and to destroy it alone stands any chance of saving India from yet more misery of their attacks. The present attitudes of Indians could one day make India an occupied territory of Pakistan. Indians discussing these topics tacitly assume that there is no real danger of that, and so feel free to take a pro-Pakistan view about the armed forces in Kashmir. Their true views will become known if the Indian Govt. suddenly announces total withdrawal of army from Kashmir !!

Let there be a privately organized referendum among all Indians whether army should be withdrawn from Kashmir.

Col Dr Anil Athale is right on dot to think that Pakistani society has been thouroughly brain washed with prejudices. It is unrealistic to hope that when Civil Society is not even trying to address rthis issue, there can be hope that efforts to redeem relations with Pakistan can yield the result. Best is to remain prepared to tackle evolving risk of madness in Pakistan and forget about the fact that cow can have friendship with tiger.Already Pakistan by its action has created ill-feeling in Afghanistan, Though China is a friend, it is scared of islamic terrorism on its soil. USA is not unaware about its duplicity. World over Pakistan has earned well deserved reputation as a nation with largest market share of terroroists so one day it must collapse under its contradictions. Moreover dominance of Pakistani army over Civil leaders makes exercise useless as was seen recently by behaviour of their foreign minister equating the talk by foreign secretary Pillai with Saiyad Hafiz!Civil leaders at the best are impotent in front of Kayani and hence the futility of wasting time with such people. Let them mind their business and we should mind our business the biggest of which is to secure the country against a Frankestein of terrorism. It will take some time but Islamic mad nation will have to pay the price one day as they did with Bangladesh and Afghnaistan .While Chinese and American grants can seem comfortable , both nations are not there for charity and would extract price.

The article says that the peace process will remain a mirage for the foreseeable future. I think it will be forever - though I am not GOD - for the simple reason that all the education being given to the future generation of Pakistanis is based on "Hate India'. What a ghastly situation - a so called educated man like Quereshi behaving like that.

Dear Colonel
You are absolutely right when u call a spade a spade. When the very basis of pakistan is anti-india how can we expect peace , prosperity with pakistan. I think the best solution to this problem is to withdraw all diplomatic relations and end this farce once and for all.

Someone, for a change, has been honest in assessing Indo-Pak relations. You are talking about a country that came into being only as an Islamist entity opposing India -- cultural commonness did not matter to them back then. The only reason they now want trade is that their own shoe is pinching them, not because they have become more tolerant of "Hindu" India or its principles. Pakistanis spew venom over the creation of Israel, forgetting their own country was created out of India. They name their missiles Ghauri and Ghazni, two of the worst marauders and looters history has known. Imagine Germany calling its tanks Adolf Hitler! Where the educated leadership of a country, belonging to the elite classes does that, I shudder to think about the "masses." Obscene "Ghandhi" jokes are common, while we dont joke that way about Jinnah no matter how negatively he is perceived in India. So are jokes on Hindu "baniyas" -- and if a Hindu in India does the same to Muslims, he will be taken to court. I dont know why the Bollywood star made such supportive statements about Pakistan -- it was totally in bad taste. Pakistanis want the lucre trading with India and participating in Bollywood can bring them, but most of them, including the educated elite, look down upon Hindus (or rather, like to think they are somehow better by virtue of their "fair complexion and height&q

Total agreement of why pakkee life form are brainwashed in their public schools and post secondary institutes - You FAILED to mention the doctrine that causes it islam- you need to destroy the doctrine of islam in the indian education system or just limit the destruction of islam to Shavite schools in India or go the economy route destroy islam in the streets as is presently done in north america and Europe- you need another PHD to understand this? well then go figure
