Anti satellite capability is the of the day & quite undeniabl
by PRRANJAL SHRIVASTAV on Mar 18, 2012 01:49 PM

The modern war strategies & warcrafts rely heavily on AWACS & satellite data executed for the purpose of warfare. just imagine a scenario when our precious space assets are destroyed one after another even before the actual war begins & our military tactics, hi tech communiction networks, AWACS & ground positions are all disconnected & blindfolded from the lethal information & mission critical data, we will just end up watching our hi tech networks being destroyed, from our bunkers helplessly just becoz we didn't prepare to defend our satellites when we had time. we've spent trillions to develop & insane man hours to practice the information networks on military level. but if there are no satellites in this integrated equation, then even all this modern warfare wudn't have an impact better than bows & arrows of primitive era. we'll be blind & deaf, fighting dumbly an already lost war against an enemy with hundred eyes, thousand noses & a miliion ears. i think one needs to fully understand the procedure of an integrated system network & how it operates, before commenting on a need to develop the hi tech weaponry.

Long before China overpowers India in Military arena, India would have been destroyed by prostitutes, corrupt wives, sex hungry policemen and judges who are sending innocent men to jail in hordes under IPC 498A.

India is looking effectiveness and not precision
by hotz on Feb 09, 2010 09:00 PM

India is not focussing on precision targeting in initial stage atleast.logic dictates Its working on cost effective mass debris ejection deterrent at high velocity in space that will knock down all satellites indian or chinese in orbit. And Of course yes in the process will make space more unviable for both india and china but would serve as a very effective deterrent for our neighbor if they try to compromise our space assets indeed.China has just washed its hands of many billion dollars worth of precision research when they learned of what Indias options are in such a scenario.
