The author is correct in one way ---if people voted or looked up to the congress it was due to reason that it was projected ,perceived as a middle of the road , nationalistic policy with gave it a moral stature unlike their parties , But is that eally the case? rahul statements and diggis pandering to communalism and vote bank make it a party with no nationalistic tendencies ? Its penchant and cover up for scams was always there but now see how shameless it has become ---its only defense is you did it too (when confronted by the opposition on the issues )so why tell us. Congress endures because Indian population is politically immature. In which part of the world can a party kill 3,000 people over three days and continue to rule, endure whatever?

1. It promotes family politics, sidelining eminent politicians like Pranab Mukherjee and making MMS the PM because he is more loyal to the dynasty than the people of the country. 2. For being pseudo-secular, dividing Hindus and appeasing minorities, promoting vote-bank politics. 3. For creating the bogey of non-existing Hindu terrorism and downplaying the real terrorism that has been creating havoc in the country for the past nearly 3 decades. 4. For having uncouth spokespersons whose only job is to protect the dynasty, skirting the real issues facing the nation. 5. For promoting corruption. They have ruled the country for nearly 55 years since independence and their only contribution is corrupt politicians, corrupt institutions and corrupt bureaucrats. 6. For ignoring the 2G scam for 1 1/2 years and now suddenly trying to blame NDA and ignore the real scam by ordering a probe from 2001 onwards in the name of SC directives. 7. For virtually controlling CBI (Congress Bureau of Investigation), ATS and even the judiciary! 8. Concentrating more on 2G spectrum scam and trying to nail NDA and BJP instead of the real culprits and in the bargain totally removing the Adarsh and CWG scams off the radar where only Congressmen are involved and the beneficiaries. 9. For political incompetence. 10. For continuing to promote and tolerate senile politicians like Digvijay Singh, Arjun Singh....... well the list is endless.
