Doubble standard of Indians
by the unique on Dec 12, 2010 09:22 AM  | Hide replies

Its corruption when DMK minister does and its opposition ploy when BJP CM yeddyurappa do. BJP stalls parliment but does not have least guts to remove yeddyurappa. BJP is making mokery of democracy and is interested in coming to power in next elections. They have blind people here who follow like swami nityananda deciples.

It is nothing to do with congress or BJP or any other political party,we Indians in general have become corrupt to the core non patriotic self centered thugs !

Whoever will get power will do the same thing..I am really worried about the fate of the country because in place of nation building every one in power be it politician, media, corporates, etc are busy creating personal wealth..

But we are worried about corruption, Prime Minister!
by Rahul Dev on Dec 12, 2010 09:19 AM

Why are you shielding the corrupt, Mr. Clean? Parliamentary democracy is at peril because of people like you who shield the corrupt in order to survive politically. Once you reflect and worry genuinely about Indian parliamentary democracy, you will realize that it is simply in your hands really. You should muster enough courage to expose all the corrupt. Merely being a good PM is not sufficient, MR. PM. You should display enough manliness to stand up to the humongous corruption under your dispensation. Prove yourself to be an efficient PM also. Then this country will remember you forever for your services. This is the time for you to act, rather than wailing about future of Indian parliamentary democracy on foreign soil. It only betrays your impotency and cowardliness.

The amount 1,70,000 crore enough to convert all roads in india to make them 4 way express ways. It can provide homes to all of indians. HE is worried about Parliament not about people who does not have proper food and shelter.

Corruption MUST be curbed. But blocking functioning of the Parliament is NOT the way.
Where will people be, if there is simiar anarchy on the streets without any governance.
Administraive set up can BUT work only under some control - of whatever kind, else it can become arrogant.
Are we not then heading for a situation where someone may try to be a dictator and of course fail, which can only lead to chaos.
We need to realise the grave consequences of the Parliament Sytem failing and protect it in our own interests.
That of course does not mean condoning corruption, for which we all must share the responsibility & do what we can!

PM must be mulling idea of bringing back "emergency " period. Congress has habits of stooping down to any levels to keep its name intact.

He is afraid of UPA Chairperson, as her two sisters and herself are involved in 2G spectrum scam. The CBI raid at A. Raja's residences are to supress the evidences of their involvement in this scam.

You did not use this word when Raja was moving around scott free utilizing his time to cover up his corruption...You did not use this word when your party's minister was asking for freedom for J&K.... You were not worried when separatists were protected by police and nationalists were being lathi charged....You were not worried when crores of rupees were being swindled from CWG cofferes which was being MONITORED by PMO.....
Why are you worried now? Has madam asked you to say so? ... Oh then it's OK....
