take it sportively to correct ourselves
by satyananda rao on Dec 01, 2010 09:52 AM

what americans seem to infer goes only by logic.
our beaurocracy/politicians/corruption makes us to take late decision on troop movements/quick steps to strike gaining initial advantage/delay in procurements of advanced equipment/armaments/our over dependance on indegeneous development/production (delays occur at every stage due to procedures)/outright nepotism in postings and consequent demoralisation will hamper the gains what ever achieved by our heroic armed forces and frustrate us to go in for nuclear use to save our selves if we face prosepcts of poosible defeat as it happened in case of china in 1962 due to bunders committed by Nehru. These deficiencies are now well known to us if we read the book " himalayan blunder"

It is obvious we have to come out of this deficiences to prove americans to be wrong.

LET us work for it and take their assesments sportively..

Not a surprise.

This should not be a surprise given the pathetic condition of roads India has and unsophisticated transport & supply machinery and sources. It is true now and even before than unless your supply routes are secured, you can not win a long war.

The marathas lost to Afgans at the third battle of panipat for the same reason, the germans (hitler) lost to russia for the same reason.
