Good Similarities: 1. Both parties believe in national Integrity.(Unlike left believes Arunachal Pradesh is a part of China) 2. Both parties have same International policy.
Bad Similarities. Both of them are corrupt(From head to tale & Bark to core). At present congress is more corrupt because they are in the ruling side.(BJP have only one Karnataka Land & mine mafia scam now; hope they will come to the congress level after 2014 election).
Worst Similarities: BJP Stands for Hard hindutwa.(1992 Masjid, 2002 Gujarat,2008 Kandamal) Congress Stands for soft Hindutwa & Soft Islam. Shabanu Case:SC Order dilution for hardliner Muslims & Masjid Opening for hardliner Hindus.
they both seem to be scratching each others back some times. there have been major issues which could have put the government in a tight spot but the bjp just provided lip service to them and let the matter be. what started as a party with a difference is today a sad shadow of the congress. if they dont change their ways and soon it will be their doom.
Sheela Butt at it once again....look at the spinster sheela. How she twisted the philosophical approach of Arun that the ruling party changes but the invisible ruler/lobbyist doesn't change. She promptly equated that Congress & BJP are same. Madam Sheela u r too good & this can be seen from the naive responses below. Sheela, instead of supporting the opposition for their demand for JPC & pressurising the govt. to do so, unduly & willfully she comes up with the spinning interviews like this one wherein unreasonable comparision is made between some alleged land scam (officiated by Congress) with the 2G spectrum. Sheela have sold herself to Niira type lobbyist of Congress who directs it to go slow on 2G spectrum. Rest assured, the opposition party is on its own in this issue without any help of the so called fourth estate. Satyemave Jayeta......

Every politician who want to blame the opposition party. Bcuz All are equal !
BJP gave lift to several people which otherwise could not have been achieved by them. Later they became a liability like Mr.Ramjethmalini. Mr.Jaswanth Singh made a joker of himslef by sayign there was mole in PMO. Now Mr.Shourie is telling about what Mr.Sinha narrated to him. Why did he not question the leadership at that time? It was good he revolted and saw to it that Mr.Advani and Mr.Rajnath Singh made way to new people. BJP led NDA was far better to the people than the UPA which came to power only one one slogan that prices were rising. But after UPA took over prices were rising daily so also corruption in every walk of life. Those who talk of these things should analyse. As a journalist let Mr.Shourie analyse the prices during NDA and now, infrastructure development, level of corruption etc., and let the people know about it.
Interview is a lovely yet eye opening read sending a chill down the reader's spine. But it is extremely pathetic that most of us refuse to open our eyes because we don't want to take the bull by the horns.

To fight the disease of corruption now deeply entrenched in our political system we certainly need more Arun Shouries.
