I have heard that once the Chinese people were allowed to own only bicycles as their personal vehicle. Motor cars were used only for public transports. With the intrusion of CAPITALISM in China, people are allowed to own more and more personal properties like cars, etc. Use of motorable vehicles for personal business purpose has also boomed there. We will have to remain spectators only when such a day comes in India.

we have our good old bullocks still running on all main national highways ... in such situations we are most adaptable to go offtrack

Dear friends pls note that, though Chinese people were not allowed to own private motor cars. Their use for public transport was not discouraged. In this way, we can also decrease our Carbon foot print along with reducing the traffic jams.

My friend, it is not a matter of joke. I once got stuck in a highway jam for 3 and half hours. Managing natural emergencies in such situations is no ordinary joke.

i know its an extraordinary joke... ppl until then laugh at each other at the talk of nature calls ....in such situations the camaraderie is high ... they hand out toilet paper to each other and hold curtains...

When ever I travel by bus between two cities, either the bus breaks down or it gets stuck in a highway traffic jam.

when there are too many personal emergencies (too many people having emergencies) it becomes a calamity... you got it ?

The rescue operation involves asking people to take care of their emergencies in the open space by these roads.
