MMS on Lal Kila
by subodh jain on Aug 16, 2010 02:41 PM  | Hide replies

What an speech by MMS. We are fighting Price rise. What a way!!!! All MPS being given a pay hike of more than 300%. Does this so called eminent economist even understand the basic of economics. if you have to fight price rise increase your income by looting others pockets. This boron PM does not even have the guts to punish Pawar, chidambaram and Pranab.
Pawar on one hand says we are short of grains and need to import, hence the massive price rise in inevitable and secondly he says we do not have enough space to store the grains. It means all our godowns are full to the brim with no grains. What an elite Agri. minister.
The home minister says he will tackle the naxal menace within 3 years where every day naxals butcher our ill equipped forces on each of the PC statement.
And our Pranab says Indian economy is on the boom with Oil co. facing losses, exports on the roll whereas imports surpasses way ahead than exports. We are feeding to China, Pakistan in the name of improving our relations where as both of these rouge nations are back stabbing us on every count.
Why Raj and bala thackrey were not sent to cleans the seas in Mumbai due to ship collision.Where these two and its so called sena hide in time of need.Than every Maha- ite calls them their leaders.
Think over and await repsosnes.

What great ministers we have.

The 2nd Rajput Regiment
by vadamalai balamurugan on Aug 16, 2010 01:38 PM  | Hide replies

You have mentioned that the regiment has fought war of 1947/1962/1971 and what did the regiment do in 1965? does that mean no body knew what the regiment did in 1965? In 1965 my dad lost his right leg in a mine blast in Poonch fighting for the nation and he was with the 2nd Rajput Regiment, even after he lost his leg he served for the country till 1983. His leg used profusely bleed when ever he hit something hard, but being a tough man he used to manage. But what has the country done for him nothing other then making my mom run for the pension from pillar to post. My dad retired has a Major with the 24th Rajput Regiment in Tibri Cantt near Gurdaspur in Punjab. He was promised that the govt. wud contribute 75% and he wud have to contribute 25% to open a gas agencies in my native in Madurai. But cooly the govt. backed off saying that since he had taken premature retirement ( He had 5 yrs of service left) they wud only give 25%, which my dad refused. He survived just for 6months after his retirement because I am sure he knew that his helath was detorirating. And I was just doing my 6th std and we were 4 brothers. This is what the country / the govt. has down to a person who has fought for the nation & lost his leg.

Bala.

Every PM can recycle the same speech for another 64 yrs
by vijaya kumar on Aug 16, 2010 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

At this rate Manmohan Singh or any other prime minister can keep recycling this same speech for another 64 years. Food prices and inflation will be rising even then, Maoists will be bombing and killing people, Kashmiris will be throwing stones, Pakistanis will have to be warned for supporting militants, India will still be divided on basis of caste, religion and language and lack of sanitation/education, poverty and corruption will still be rampant. Why dont they just make one video to telecast every year and every 5 years just morph the face of the then prime minister onto it? It will save all the time, effort and money which goes into this pointless speech!

In another 64 years (year 2072), the prime minister will have the same speech - and India will be the same country, sitting at the bottom of the world, and the world will be very different.

Phrase, No one will be spared, now a joke
by vijaya kumar on Aug 16, 2010 11:52 AM  | Hide replies

All speeches of the PM has a phrase "No one will be spared" This was for the Mumbai attacks, the Pune bakery blast, The Mumbai train blasts, Delhi Bazar blast etc.etc. and now the CWG. No one will be spared, but all are spared if they put the money they have robbed in the Congress treasury. We have seen no action from this PM. Kashmir and price rise has not been tackled. It is all as simple, just say it, need not act on it. Indira said, "Garibi Hatao" and won votes, so just say it again after the next incident, "No one will be spared." Any bets, no one will be arrested for the CWG frauds......

The speech of PM reflects helplessness
by vijaya kumar on Aug 16, 2010 11:22 AM  | Hide replies

The speech of Mr PM reflects helplessness on a large number of important issues. The fuel prices had to be increased to cover the subsidies bill meaning that take from someone to pay somebody else who does not receive it and the middle man reaps the benefit. The food grain are rotting because FCI in non functional. The IAS and bureaucracy are corrupt and defunct. The flood situation is getting out of hand. One does not know what actually is happening. Mr Prime Minister for starter take charge of the situation. If the FCI in non functional out source the handling ,storage and distribution of food grains. The IAS should be made result oriented and not just promote on the basis of length of service. Have some spine to deal with Pakistan and Maoists. The river water resources need to be nationalised and make a plan to interconnect all the major rivers to save the country from the ravages of floods and divert water to perpetually drought hit areas. Atalji planned this project: if BJP would have been in power, the project would have progressed by now. Express Highways started by Atalji should seen as a best eg. by congressi. Bihar has declared drought to seek federal funds but one doubts whether these if at all allotted will reach the needy. The federal should have result oriented schemes and all such schemes which are non functional should be scrapped rather than wasting public and tax payers' money. Bad governerence and corruption by successive congress govts. are the root caus

Who are they fooling ?
by vijaya kumar on Aug 16, 2010 11:09 AM

The inane speeches by the PM and the President during our Independence Day celebrations should be scrapped. They serve no purpose because no follow up action is ever taken on what they say. No one believes a word of their empty promises and verbal flag waving. Neither of these two worthies has lifted a finger to eradicate corruption, criminalisation and terrorism in our country to date. Who are they fooling?

Narendra Modiji is the best
by vijaya kumar on Aug 16, 2010 10:58 AM

As Indians we cherish the hard fought independence, but bored with the rhetoric of warning pakistan for terrorism, since it is futile unless our leaders have the spine to deal with it harshly. We indians do acknowledge the fact that it is easy to comment and hard to follow. That does not take away the responsibility of our elected representatives from behaving diplomatically. Rather than fighting within themselves for votes and minority appeasing in parliament, it would be better if they are made accountable for their actions. The prime ministers and the president address makes the citizens of India sleepy, since there won't be anything new. Even if we watch them salute our national flag, it seems they are mentally and physically not well. Hope to see a vibrant face and a stateman like Atalji atleast in the next term. Narendra Modiji is the best under the prevailing situations . Jai Hind.
