Anyone who denies the horrible plight of the Tribals,Dlits and other such oppressed groups are as guilty as Iran's Prez Ahminedajad's denial of the Holocaust. People do not resort to violent actions as a first resort- they do so as a last resort against the criminal neglect, perverse indifference oppressive policies of successive govts and the horrible treatment at the hands of the police. While that cannot condone violent insurgency, it makes the case why they fall victim to groups like the Maoists who supposedly champion their cause. Fact is, govt in this fetid land is not, nor has ever been proactive- they're always reacting. It's took their turning to Maoist insurgency to force the govt to at least confront the horrible conditions under which these oppressed marginalized people are forced to live, and also, the fear of outside influence causing havoc across the land, making an already badly governed land totally ungovernable.

I agree. The fact is that Indian democracy has failed. The corrupt political class, along with the underworld and police have exploited India like anything. 60 years of kongrass rule has devastated the country.

Capitalism is fine. But there has to be a golden balance. A small percentage living luxurious life and a majority of starving people is not a good picture. Also, when this minority % gets money and power, they begin to feel that they can commit any atrocities on the weaker section. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

There is no small percentage living in luxury. This is what the criminal Marxists want you to believe in.
There are 450 million of my countrymen who are middle-class, upright, honest and working for their daily bread without causing problems. All of them want to live decent lives and do not want their lives upset by an idiotic Marxist revolution.

Even if I concede_that high figure for middle class, that still leaves_750_ million poor. Not all of them_are_naxals. But a very few of them show courage.
