Well said. All the evidence of terrorism will be buried dead. To save govt's face, only undeniable cases will be taken up under public pressure.
This primitive, underdeveloped country boasts of wanting to become a 'superpower', yet have nothing in place for becoming one- their apathy, impotence and incompetence is laid bare by the fact that this country has neither developed nor acquired any system to deal with any such situations- whether accidental or otherwise And have the netas on Raisina Hill even considered that this might not be just an 'accident'?

Speaking about weakness doesn't mean having mental prob. We indians are worst when it comes to give finishing touches to any work (unless it is some work related to a neta). we all need a radical and fundamental change in the mindset. there is potential to become the super power but not with a 'CHALTA HAI' attitude...

Such accidents can happen anywhere. The forest fires in Aus, Sept 11 incident in US, Chernob nucelar accident in Russia, Chemical plant accidents in China, Russian Nuclear Submarine accident all are also major disasters happened in advanced countries.
this minister is commenting as if he has nothing to do with it... and spoke to media so randomly like a BHAI.. to the very least he should apologize and offer his resignation.. this will cost india so many innocent lives and crores of money...
Shouldnt he take responsibility for this?? am i missing something here??

why is india media so amateur and dumb.. y dont they present analysis and ask the right questions... indian media is like kids jumping on the street with a video cam...
A convenient write-off to cover the misdeeds of IOC and MoE/MoPR officials. Now let us wait for another round of fuel price rise as the crude oil prices have risen globally!
THE WAY MURLI DEORA AND HIS CRONY BEHURIA RESPONDED TO THE FIRE WHEN THEY WERE INFORMED ON THURSDAY NIGHT IT LOOKED AS IF THEY WERE DRUNK AND DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING! ONLY ON FRIDAY MORNING AFTER THE BOOZE GOT OUT OF THEIR SYSTEM DID THEY COME OUT WITH A STATEMENT ! AND ALL THEY SAID WAS:" WE CANT DO ANYTHING ! LET THE FIRE BURN OUT ALL THE OIL!!!"" WOW MAN , THEY HAVE STORED 1 LAKH LITRES OF HIGHLY INFLAMMABLE FUEL IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA AND DONT HAVE A CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR SUCH A DISASTER!!A POLICE CASE MUST BE FILED AGAINST DEORA AND ALL HIS CHAMCHAS IN THE IOC MANAGEMENT FOR CAUSING DEATH AND DESTRUCTION DUE TO NEGLIGENCE! SHAME SHAME!!

guru, this is not a fire in a newspaper or a wood that you can throw water at. This is oil fire and can be put down easily in initial stage. The fire was visible from 25 kms and fire tenders were as far as 500 m. Got it ? These kind of fire are fought with foam and that too in initial stages. In later stages when the fuel is burning, the focus should be on reducing damage.

60 years have been spent praying for bereaved familes in my beloved country and still no accountability
India's Public Undertakings are in a very pathetic condition as the administrator and concerned Ministers are busy with corrupt practive of looting the these PSU's; they hardly think and get prepared with the issue of Disaster Preparedness.
There is hardly any accountability and conpetent administration of these huge Navratna's.
Minister is busy in facilitating business gaints to loot them.

Even after so much of preparedness , disasters do happen, anywhere in world. Dont criticize PSUs. THey dont take anything from your pocket, they earn for themselves. I agree there is corruption in PSUs but tell me where it is not ? Dont forget satyam scam. IMHO, go and visit any PSU, and meet some DGM there. Particularly NTPC, IOC,ONGC etc.

They r saying 150Crore worth fuel...if u take tht all to b higher end PETROL at Rs.60/l price,it'd be 2.5 crore liters of PETROL as against the 10 Crore they r saying...alternately,based on diesel and kerosene which r lower prices wd have highr volume...so it could well be 10 crore litres or 100,000KL...So shut up!
