As you sow so you reap
by Balasubramanian Ramachandran on Oct 21, 2009 09:15 AM

Pakistan is reaping the benefits of nurturing a venomous snake. Anyway personally I wish them success as this will put an end to a barbarian and world will get rid of one heartless man. I also pray that Pakistan stop developing such people in future with a short benefit of putting India in trouble but in the long run, it is Pakistan that suffers like this

Pakistan learning lesson
by vijesh vijay on Oct 21, 2009 09:05 AM  | Hide replies

Pakisthan is really learining lesson for bieng a breeding ground for terrorism. After the independence their number one priority was to attack indians. Now they are tasting what they've been cooking for many years. But innocent civilians are killed in the process.
This war will only end when pakisthan government starts to look in to their internal issues rather than planning attack on India.

Outsource Kashmiri Militant operation to Pakistan
by Anjani Tewari on Oct 21, 2009 09:04 AM

India should look to outsource Kashmiri militant operation to Pakistan. This way we will be able to curb militancy on US money.

Why do Indians not have the ability to counter attack with terrorist methods...

That is the basic reason why Indians are always under attack and unable to stop it or take revenge for all the killing and destruction done since Independence.

Crimes against Indians are not accounted for and punishment is not given, so all are free to attack India at will.

This is the land that has given birth to Buddha and Mahatma, we live upto their values. Come what may, even the 26/11 repeats in other cities, we will have the same scenario

Someone - you should realise the basic fact. If Pakistan attacks Mehsud it becomes an internal conflict inside Pakistan. But if Indian army attacks militants in Kashmir it becomes oppression against the minorities and the secularism of Congies will wake up. Not to mention the Lefties and Righties who are so patriotic not to India but China. Here religion is vote bank and secularism is in dictionary only

Ideas about feasible methods of countering terrorist attacks should be written on this board to bring about more awareness of need for action.

Indians have to stop loking upto Govt. for initiatives on socially important matters. Initiative must be taken by people privately. Govt. can be expected to follow up or give some supporting finance etc but cannot be expected to start a new process.

It is an old unsolved problem of Indians, which needs new ideas to solve it.

In any case taking revenge, and destroying those who use terrorists, have to be a part of the solution. Psychological methods too have to be used to discuss and open up the minds of general public of Pakistan that and make them understand that it is wrong to attack India.

At present for Pakistani it is a matter of glory and pride that their agents are able to destroy and kill at will inside India.

However the professionals and hardened terrorists will not be affected, and have to be destroyed physically.

There is no substitute for physical destruction. All others except Indians seem to know it already.

There is a very simple way but takes some time. You should give compulsory good education (not in Madrassas) to all kids in Kashmir whichever village they live. Also you should start industries and develop tourism in Kashmir valley. Initially there will be problems created by terrorists but in the long run common man will not support the terrorist activities. Any terrorist organisation without local support is like fish living in a tank without water. Indian Govt should gain confidence from the locals of Kashmir - this will surely help. I know some Kashmiris in Chennai and Kerala who strongly believe that India is their country
