It's looks like one big farce- Pak Military owns the Taliban and will do anything to keep from destroying them.
Chances are, the Military made a deal to allow their Talib vassals time to move out of the area, before starting their 'mother of all campaigns'??

When Tamil and Assami became Taliban, Mr. Pappu?
Are you a Paki?
Both are patriotic states, sending lot of people to Indian Army, RAW, Research and Science, and Sports.
Hope you stop blabbering....

Unification of Germany has made Communist East Germany get all the benifits from financially sound West Germany. Indians wont earn much with this merger than the horrible neighbourhood of Afganistan and Iran(under US threat).

People are judged by their work and thoughts, not by the geographical border. We see from Dawn channel that an educated class of people, however small, doesnot believe in hate ideology. They are the true sufferer in Pakistan today. Pakistan cannot fool India unless it wants to get fooled. I have seen your earlier posts..you may have concern but still try to change yourself.

I have one request to you Mr rehan;stop hating India and Indians.Your media, military and mullah(3M's) are full of hatred towards india.
Please remember hardly 500 years back you were all hindus. I am not going to get in to debate on the relative superiority any faith here. However i will definitely point out that mass conversion in punjab, sindh and the so called NWFP was not as per human rights. It just happened those days.Ok past is past please realise your roots are indian and do not hate this country, after all its only your historical home land of past.Accept primacy of india and help india become a great power.Do not get in to ego problems.

We in India never treat Pak as another Country. They are our beloveds sharing the same culture. As for hinduism is concerned, it is all assimilative, so no problem. we assure our Pakistani brothers that India would definitely be with you moderates and would extend every thing it can to strenthen your Civil Society.

we Indians are never against any country in the world. No country in this world has a reason to hate my great country. But we are facing the menace of terrorism and that makes some of us think against Pakistan.. its natural. Indian Muslims are far safe in this country than in any other country inclding Muslim nations. So you people have to remove your hatred against India. Beacuse Indian culture is all about peace and love. May be in future it will India who will give a helping hand to you when it is needed the most forgetting all that has happened. Mera Bharath Mahan

yes, my dear friend.
You people are cheated by your rulers. Pakistan's Kashmir centric policy has led to all these mess. They trained the militants and fed them well till recently. But the same militants are the threat to Pakistan's existance today. It is high time that Pakistan realize its mistake of supporting the terrorists. Indian Muslims are better off than Muslims of any other Country. Muslim world should understand this fact. Also Muslims should start living for their Country rather than for their religion.

What you are saying is 100% correct , but the fact remains that Pakisthan has and is practicing TERROR in the form of ISLAMIC JEHAD as a state policy against INDIA.
Muslims of India and pakisthan are LIBERALS but the message going out to other communities is always of the FANATICS because the so called LIBERALS like us choose to sit calm and enjoy our life.

Pakistan nurtures terrorism which go against him
by Anup Ghorai on Oct 20, 2009 07:16 PM  | Hide replies

Terrorism kills mankind, it is blind. Persons with open eyes should resist terror for his existance. Persons so called terrorists are also human being. They fight against discrepancies of their living hood. They started terror with this feeling, but LEADER prepare them as terrorist who can conquer the mankind. Bullet is not the ONLY solution for them, their socio-economic condition should be improved. We have to resist the LEADERs. Developed countries fueling this kind of terrorism for their business only. So fight against 'state and non-state' people.

Pakistani Army gameplan
by Fried Yakov on Oct 20, 2009 06:53 PM  | Hide replies

The Pakistani Army does not have the heart to after its children, the Taliban, and wants to get out of the odd situation it has been forced into by the US pressure. It first tried to scuttle the pressure by raising a din about the Kerry-Luger bill, then it got its porteges to attack the Revolutionary Guard in Iran, hoping, if Iran took the bait, it could cite the pretext of an external war to wriggle out of the difficult situation. After the 26/11 attacks failed to elicit a military response from its eastern neighbour, the Pakistani Army may gain try to repeat the provocation. It is a fact that the Pakistani Army does not want to tackle the Taliban and this is again proven by the timing of the offensive. After sitting on the plan for months, they have moved in now, but soon the sever winter season shall start, minimising all troop movements, and allow the militants time to recoup or escape.
