Good, but who will pay for the pollution you create, who will pay for the national waste that is created because of this festival...Infac, every H*I*N*D*U festival has extravagance and wastage of money, they don't give alms or charity but are willing to blow away millions on self-pleasure and indulgence....When millions are starving in poverty, millions washed away in floods, millions sleeping on pavements of India, all the H*I*N*D*U*S are selfish and self indulgent folks who are worried about their new clothes, burning crackers and eating sweets which will come out the next day...All for a night's pleasure...They are willing to stash away that money rather than spending it on the poor or needy in providing a meal for that night...Indians spending on Diwali extravagence is equivalent to feeding poor families for 1 week in India...

Man we do not do it everyday. My personal observation is that the smoke from the crackers kills mosquitoes. So take it easy and enjoy Deepavali.
