Fidel Castro

This lion took on 11 USA President but withstood the imperialism of usa. Please someone here pass this message to Mr. Modi. Fidel Castro said in June 2016 that USA and Israel specially Mossad fathered ISIS. ISIS is creation of USA and Israel. Saudi and Qatar may have sent the foot soldiers later. Fidel is not Digvijay Singh to make loose statement. A man of his stature cannot be take lightly. Still if Mr. Modi thinks Israel is worthy and model country then he loves fascism.

Nation Concept
by ojama on Nov 24, 2013 12:27 PM  | Hide replies

The Concept and Idea of a Geographical land area called India after 1947 and cohesiveness of Indianess and nationhood is still an alien one to most of us.

During Moguls and British time more than 50% of land mass in the subcontinent was ruled by an assorted kings of more than 500 nos.

After the Mogul era, the British brought all the assorted Kings and their kingdoms militarily under them thru Viceroy Lord Dalhousie's subsidiary alliance system.

Therefore, the concept of national security was and is still not well ingrained in the Indian psyche right from the early days.

Your view is partially correct. However, the fundamental reason for that (the lack of development of national security) was that this is a Country that professed oneness through ideas and not necessarily physical oneness. The fact that they never attacked another Country in their long history is testimony to this fact.

Will power
by Guest on Nov 24, 2013 11:36 AM

The three things he said are all true but will power to realize one's shortcomings and therefore feel horrible and pledge not to let this happen again as a nation is the key missing element in India's security. Everything will fall in place when the nation and its people build the willpower to never accept this honorific incident and let it happen again.

i think the net result of the 26/11 attack would be the security of netas and top babus would be strengthened at the the expense of the tax payer (the aam aadmi, whom every political party wants to help !). the Aam Aadmi will keep getting killed by terrorists when he is not being fleeced by politicians and sarkari karmacharis. Pity his life !!

by mahesh sawant on Nov 27, 2009 02:33 AM

All the steps Mossad chief said .. we on't follow 99 % of them, our police is equipped with non voilience lathis .. like they are going to play dandiya .... they still use the old rifles ...that takes minutes to load bullets .. Intelligence failure is so common that after every attack we have the same reason. Still .. we have not learn anything .. now after one year we have commando force in Mumbai .. the most important thing will be how our MH corrupt govt will be able to maintain it .. or just after 1 year ... we may have a new picture that all equipment are either out of use due to no maintenanceand are useless .. and just providing commando force for mumbai is not sufficent .. is our central govt waiting for another such attach in any other city so they can start building commandos only after attcak .. it took 8 hours for commandos to reach mumbai and start operation after atatck .. so are we waiting for the same for chennai, banglore, kolkallta or other cities .. why aftre 1 year we still don't have the same commando force in the above metros or our govt is waiting for another attcak to react ?

The another joke was also to see in the Taj hotel. Two brave police officers having only one pistol were searching for terrorists inside the hotel alongwith brave hotel staff despite being aware of the fact that terrorists are heavily equipped with automatic guns, granades, RDX etc....

Bravery alone can't work unless you are well equipped and trained...Who would own the responsibility for this ill preparedness Mumbai police department or govternment?

yani you more on! Singling RRP for criticism and blame is less asinine than electing the same party back to power!

why just the people of Mumbai? what about the responsibility of rest of India to respond with solidarity and collective outrage by sacking this party nationally??

And, who will you replace "this party" with ??? However bad "this patry" is, the others are far worse AND THE PUBLIC KNOWS THAT. That is why the Hindutva goons were booted out for the third time in a row.

the nsg was able to liquidate the terrorists only due to the nsg's sheer strength/superiority in numbers. it was not strategic.

patriotic indians : do not spew venom on me, i am only stating the bitter truth. i love my country as much as the next person.

Mr.Azam!

I agree with you, pakistan is switzerland of east. It is a peaceful country where all people live peacefully and they do not interfere in any country. People like Taliban and Al qaida come and sing qawalis in Jama masjid of lahore.

Mr.Kasab and 8 others have come to india to preach that.

Shame on all those people who think that role of sangh parivar and kasab. Mr.Karkare has wasted his life on people like you, because of such sentiments any person who patriotic also gets maligned, why no common man dared to rush to kasab and others to rip them open with bare hands. If I get an opportunity I will spare such efforts.

I agree with you. Most people who call themselves nationalist on this board do not actually care about the country, but are mere jingoists. It is true that a lot of men-in-uniform lost lives, but it must be probed thoroughly. How can merely 10 men keep a whole city to ransom for 3 days? What if these were not just 10 and perhaps 1000 spread into almost all cities of the country? Are our police and security forces capable enough? Do they get the right training and weapons? What is needed to get them motivated further? News channels must spare some thought instead of lighting candles and collecting money for the dead!

Remove all politicians.
its ghastly to see yesterday, that no gherabandi was at CST , and kasab and his friend cooly were allowed to walk , mr.karkare was assassinated , CAMA hospital has no nakabandi, and further no policeman has really fought back on the culprits..its a national shame. we are looking at headley and rana, but i think its our local goon politicians, that actually supported. it very very clear....and i refuse to believe the stories given by the biased media.

It is disgusting to read in this forum - the blame game and mud slingling by the writers. The targets vary from Politicians, Police, RR Patil, Muslims, etc. etc. What is required now is to drive out terrorism forever. The sensible advice given by the Mossad ex chief is certainly the need of the hour. We must be able to ensure rapid deployment of highly trained and motivated force equipped with modern weapons, improve our intellegence, and strike at the very hearts of the local supporters of the terror groups.

Everyday is not Sunday my dear... yes I agree there were many Terrorist attacks on us On & before 26th Nov.,2008. but after this attack.. Pakistani military & terrorist ISI have to think twice/thrice before daring such attack again. Now Indian public will not allow its political leaders to fight Pak with words only..but with all its miltary strength... so be aware...every dog has its day & surely pakistan will also face the dog's fate..
