media made it worse
by BIJU KRISHNAN on Nov 26, 2009 10:54 AM

ya totally agree with some members here....atleast one journo or cameraman shd have been shot - the cowards would have immediately fled...!

The media should learn some responsible journalism. They could have shot the scene from a distance and then carried an ongoing interview or debate on television simultaneously.

Instead they went inside with the security and shot the scenes, risked their lives for some costly footage and ran exactly when the danger was right at their face.

Tell me one conclusion that the media has drawn on these attacks untill now. They spill half cooked beans into the public - just like how Russel Peters thought about it, "They show Ajmal Kasab firing at a Railway station, then they interview a person who has lost a limb, and then leave it at that. Its like we will show you the scenes, and let you weave your own imagination.

Indian citizens an emotional lot !!
by Mohan Krishnan on Nov 26, 2009 10:49 AM

Many write that we should cooperate and learn from Israel. We are poles apart in the national ethos. Our citizens are yet to think as a national and more busy with regionalism and vote on that basis. A nation and its citizens should be cool and calculated (not emotional) in knowing what is in its interests and not depend or expect any other country to save us. No two countries can have convergance of interests regarding their security as there is divergance in aspects like ethnicity, geography, geo-political situation.

India should keep its distance from Israeli establishment. Israel will screw anyone for its interest. India is strong enough to handle the Pakistani problem. When things will go out of control both US and Israel will leave this mess on our door step. US and Nato are already planning their escape from Afghanistan.

1. He will understand that BRAVERY is not in surrounding a teenager with a country made pistol in a Bus, by 100 policemen, and shooting him dead.

2. Transfers, Vote Banks, Quotas, Ministerial Luxuries - ARE NOT THE JOB DESCRIPTION of a Home Minister.
