Have We learnt from Our past Mistakes
by ANUP PATEL on Nov 21, 2009 12:06 PM  | Hide replies

A few Funny but obvious Questions we need to address :

1) Our airport technology is outdated. We look for metal, and the new explosives are made of plastic. Have we done anything about it.

2) We only focus on security when people are heading to the gates of any airport, railway station, mall, cinema, etc. If a terrorist attack would target any of the above mentioned, in the future, they will target busy times on the front end of the airport, railway station, movie hall, etc. for instance, at airports, when / where people are checking in. It would be easy for someone to take two suitcases of explosives, walk up to a busy check-in line, ask a person next to them to watch their bags for a minute while they run to the restroom or get a drink, and then detonate the bags BEFORE security even gets involved. We need the Security checks BEFORE people can even ENTER the airport premises.

3) Have you ever wondered while visiting a shopping mall why the guard at the entrance checks only the boot and the under-body of your car, and maybe the bonnet in case the security is tighter. Rarely are you asked to open the doors and the inside of the car inspected.

4) Have you also wondered why, when you and a female companion visit a theatre or a shopping mall teeming with thousands of people, you are subjected to some serious body surfing whereas the woman with you has to merely show her handbag and not get frisked at all.

People don't care about 26/11 because...
by Rajesh Tripathi on Nov 21, 2009 12:05 PM

People don't care about 26/11 because it happened in Maharashtra. And there marathis are now busy killing north Indians. Therfore, there is not much sympathy in north about 26/11. People in North now consider marathis to be as big terrorists as Pakistanis. However, if media were to emphasize that many north-Indians were also killed in 26/11, then may be situation can change. Right now, sitting in North, I can say that next time another 26/11 type thing happens in Maharashtra it will be considered a regional disturbance and hardly anyone will pay attention.

The Maharashtrians are to be blamed. Even after experiencing such horror on 26/11 and several terror strikes before, their faith in Cong is unshaken!

It is possible that

1. By 2014 the investigative agency will claim that we have nothing against Kasab.
2. Kasab from 50 kgs would have become 85 kg because of prolonged feasting on chicken biryani courtesy india govt.
3. Kasab will claim he is originally from india and from some remote village in UP like rampur or azamgarh.
4. He will file nomination papers from constituency for lok sabha elections and with support of some political outfit.
5. He will win the elections enter parliament take oath of allegiance to the indian union and beome an MP ejoy the perks, frame policies on important matters and at the side make millions, leak information to our enemies, marry a locl woman have kids and ensure that they also enter politics by hook or by crook.

Well done India. "India Shining".

People Dont Care
by Iyer kumar on Nov 21, 2009 11:16 AM

It is unfortunate that people dont care. The people who care are those who have been affected and understand the feeling in all respects. There maybe few who may feel but not all. take the SRPF personnel living on pavement for last two days, few put together in a chowky in Mahim where it is visited by rats, no electricity etc HAVE MANY FELT. These people plight will be understood by people weraing uniform and maybe few others. This is a part of human nature. If somebody passes waway in a society, we go to pay respect. Do we stop eating, watching TV or attending to our requirements NO. We only think this should not happen to us or our dear and near. Most of People feel only that much and few little beyond. But this is a fact.
