Whole India is different but these days Marathis are such a misguided guys that they can hit at Sachin too, blinded by Thackrays..as for them these days India means nothing their true representation are not any Marathi like Sachin or Lata Mangeshkar or the RSS chief but Thackrays!!!

If the marathis are guided by the thakres there would not be a congress govt in maharashtra. We Maharashtrians have always thought of the country before our state. Its a hate campaign launched particularly by the Hindi channels against marathis. I request everyone ausing marathis due to MNS campaign to think about what the real picture is.
As a indian we should be proud of Omble's courage. As rightly said, why don't NDTV, CNN IBN create a adv and source fund for their family security and future. Or if they cannot, why don't they advertise, so that people can come forward and show their gratitude in whatever form they could. This would be ideal respect for the loyality and sincerity shown by this brave man.

i just hope our corrupt govt does not forget his family the way they hv done countless times with sportspersons who were promised the sun and the moon but nothing was given, and are made to run from pillar to post to get what is promised to them.
in india all real personels , hero are not recoganised .let it be Fouji, or real war heros.
and thank God this man in real hero in lime light , other wise those who are daying in J&k , Assam , NorthEast , n ot at all know ing by any one . this politition made this system like this, think that same thing is happend in US or other devaloped world ?they ar only loosing very small amount of manpower in any war not ike india. we can pray god change attitude of the our polititions . ragu

He being awarded highest award, is an honour to all the Police fraternity, and only request to the Government of India is that his family should receive some monetary benefit on a permanent basis ie. Land / House besides his wife should get 100% pension.
Just listen this line in the article "We will then lock him up in one room and never let him go away," Bharti tells her mother and Vaishali. The fear, the need and feelings of a daughter to her father is here. Let us understand this and do good to his family. He was an Indian not a mere Marathi.
