Pass on that money to the family. Dont be sentimental.....Be practical.Even if u dont erect the statue people know who he was.
Hats off ! Such are the people who love duty. Duty to protect the self respect.....self respect as TRUE HUMAN
For them Caste ,community and creed are irrelevant they take their decisions to perform a heroic deed for the sake of the welfare of their cohabitants. .....in whatever field they are working.
The idea of supporting his family becomes an oportunity to respect the credibility of a human cause.
Even IT Dept. should show the same respect to such a man and should avoid taxation as the money goes for the welfare of three women whom no body can compensate.
There might be such heroes in IT Dept. too who have performed well in controlling money hoarding sharks. Such charity will encourage their employees too. Same is the cae with polie and Army etc.,
Plus it beecomes a national honour in protecting such dutiful sons of India and will set high standards of serving the nation unlike the corrupt.
We can not, any how change the corrupt but atleast honour such good humans and encourage such others to perform their tasks on this earth for the welfare of all of us.......which ever country or community we belong to............ It has a global significance.
Govt. of India minus corruption sould give all tax exemptions for al such acruals......so that some more heroes will attempt at being heroic....just as the heroic money givers for a human cause. All the best.
Hope rediff gives all their A/c Nos . individually in these colums.
May Ishwar/Allah/Jesus give strength to this family . We all SALUTE Tukaram Ombale for his noble work to save others from getting assassinated from the evil's hand. We salute other police officers also who have sacrificed their life for this motherland.

I agree, great suggestion. Perhaps you should write it in to some TV channel so the word gets properly around
Whenever death touches me, let it be the way Ombleji faced it. Its easy to wish such a thing but, so hard to do it when time comes. May God fill our heart and souls with dedication to the nation and selflessness. With every jihadi let thousand of martyrs be born in our hearts.
No body see God in this world. But People of India see God through Omble. He sacrified his life and his family's happiness for Indian freedom struggle. Yes it is like indian second freedom struggle from terrorists. Government of Maharastra and India through CBSE and other boards related to education must add a lesson in Indian history. kumar subramanian.
