Don't blame on others. In India, we have access to education. How many muslim parents send their children to schools. I beg you to send your children to schools. Go for family planning and fullfil the basic needs of your kids. I see so many muslim children work in shops. It is the responsibily of community leaders to show the progressive path. Allow your woman to work at par with guys. Allow them to marry as per their choice. Be rational and progressive. Let us build the nation that stands for values. This country had great past. Ignore Pakis as a brother who has chosen wrong path.

This does not look like a progressive organization. This looks more like another fundamentalist organization blaming others for all their ills. Population control, education and progressive religious priniciples will take this community forward. Otherwise they can keep blaming others

what hypocrisy?
by Mehul Patel on Nov 12, 2009 02:45 PM  | Hide replies

these women r crying foul in a hypocritical manner. they r not worried abt andolan and all. they r crying foul coz all the bars closed down. as they r not educated and from these images, they can't get roles in movies, so they thought of attracting some attention and started andolan. if they r really brave, they should sing vande mataram and take an oath not to help jehadis and also pressurize indian govt. to hang afzal guru and kasab...r they brave enough for such an andolan?

All trouble brews and originates from there. The guilty are often sheltered together and no body reports to the law enforcing authorities.

They distribute counterfeit there.AND BUY FOLOWERS. Thats why THEY GET BLACK LISTED BECAUSE OF THEIR UNWANTED ACTIVITIES....THAT ARE ANTI NATIONAL!!! ok ???

Women's plight in India is bad in general
by Sharad on Nov 12, 2009 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

Whether it is a muslim or non-muslim, the plight of poor women is bad in India. Majority of the women (except the EDUCATED WOMEN in the cities) bear great injustices against them by the CHAUVINISTIC MEN.

It is EDUCATION which will deliver them from the clutches of these barbaric men. EDUCATION will get them jobs, which will get them economic security. It is EDUCATION which will make them AWARE OF THEIR RIGHTS and the CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTION they are guaranteed by the laws. Because they are UNEDUCATED and believe in all kinds of stupid belief systems, in the name of religion, they are not aware of their own rights, and therefore, they don't assert their rights, and therefore, they have to bear the injustices of a PHYSICALLY STRONGER MALE.

These physically stronger male bullies show their strength only against their wives, sisters and daughters, and keep them suppressed in the name of RELIGION and CULTURE.

Wake up women, educate yourselves. Enlist the support of media and REASONABLE MALES to fight your cause.

EDUCATION, EDUCATION, EDUCATION.

BMMA
by sben on Nov 11, 2009 09:58 PM  | Hide replies

After so many years passed with our independence now our sisters woke up thinking that they left behind for social justice particularly indian muslim women. If the same feeling they felt long back the position would not have been this worse. Anyway, past is past let us start with a cheer, and face the problem unitedly without any political interventions and to expect political gain. If everybody in the organisation of BMMA take it personal, thinking that we are doing for the sisters of our community, then only we can reach our goal, also without thinking of caste but take to the service of humanity, one day we will definitely reach our goal. I wish each and every member of the organisation a good luck. ANIL KUMAR ARAVA from Hyderabad.

aparently ,all these so called NGO's especially from the gujarat have a notorious reputation of trying to defend anti-national elements and justify their acts under the garb of psuedo-secularism. Even though the high courts and supreme courts have blasted all these NGO's (like the one run by a shrewd criminal teesta setalvad) against cooking up issues, they continue to with their dubious activities.
