I will tell you how. Once the Taliban falls your government, we will take just one nuke to destroy your entire establishment and infrastructure. Even the US might do that since it will have a legitimacy to save the world from the Taliban beasts. Then you will become like Somalia. Have you seen Somalia pictures??

All this talk of nuclear holocaust is nonsense, no one will do something so irrational.
However, I don't think India is powerless, we can defend our borders.

'Big fella', I have no idea if India has nukes or not, I'm just a common man.
I just think that possessing or not possessing nukes is irrelevant in this context.

you never know. how are you so confident that a nuke will not be used in the future. or a neutron bomb. the only reason a nuke has not been used till now is because the international community found ways to isolate and pressurise governments using sanctions as a tool. But how do you do it against a regime such as Al Qaeda in case there is a danger of the nukes falling in their hand. It may be the last resort but still necessary

I'm confident, because I'm hoping there are smarter people than me, in the Indian government and in positions of power globally, who are well aware of the threat and would take pre - emptive action.

If you are ever fortunate enough to set foot in India, you will know what it is like to breathe the air of freedom, freedom from religious bigotry, from the need to follow and uneducated idiot perforce, freedom to dress as you please, freedom to pursue a vocation of your own choice. You will know that Muslims have achieved the highest levels of accomplishment in free India, you need look no farther than Mumbai and Bollywood for that, however, even if you do look further you will find muslims successful in all walks of life. However, only those muslims, who chose success. In a free society, one has to make choices.
The average muslim still faces no discrimination in India, yes there has been ghettoisation in the residential areas in some parts of India, but that too, I believe is a passing phase, with the waning of the original Rath Yatra expert, polarization is also likely to come down.
