Politicians with drama culture
by YKGupta on Mar 13, 2009 01:17 PM

Commies can arm twist rural folk since they have kept papers of land distribution in thier respective party offices.Mamta type politicians are very good for opposition but not good to rule.CPM should not get blunt majority so they can take any thing for granted.

Friends
Even Sonia Gandhi could not deny the popularity of Mamata now in West bengal and have rightly chosen Mamata as the leader to throw away CPM from this state. She has alreday started this in Nandigram and Bishnupur.during last 4 BIdhansabha elections 3 have been won by opposition. Now Mamata can easily say.."we are 3 and they are just 1..who will stop us".(though she won't say this because she is not a dictator and facist like BUdhdha Bhattacharya.)

BJP in the right frame of Mind
by Sandeep p on Mar 13, 2009 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

BJP is rightly lying down this time as they know that none of the party is going to get a majority in this elction and another general elections will be due by 2010-2011 where they will campaingn projecting Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister. Thats why BJP is not keen on new tie up or holding on to NDA alliance partners also. With this election the power will be with either an unholy alliance like third front or UPA with nearly 4 or 5 PM's in the next one or two years. So let BJP and NDA better start preparing for the next elections in 2010-2011. The present election should be used to know the voting patterns under new constituencies after delimitation excercise.

Sure I know about all that. What about the Commies and Congis using illegal bangladeshi voters in West Bengal, Assam and Delhi. Why the so called Grand Old Party needs a Foreigner Sonia to keep its flock together? Why that same Grand Old party is not ashamed to shake hands with its foes? Stop being a hypocrite Mr. Das

Proof-reading?
by GR on Mar 13, 2009 12:39 PM

Does rediff have editors in its team? The grammar and usage of phrases in this article is appalling. Sample these

"This time Mamata should get it right because by opposing Nano she has deeply entrenched her politics into the issue of land to win votes and in real terms, if successful, she would hit Left parties' political base at New Delhi" - Ever heard of full stops?

"Third Front may find soon land below their feet cracking" - err, what does this mean?

"lot many new voters have been added" - WTF?

"But travel west and you'll find Nano story is negative" What does this mean? West from where? All over Gujarat there is only positive for Nano or any other industrialization related story then what is she talking about?

here west was meant to be western India.
IN gujrat also nano is not having a bed of roses. There also land problem is cropping up.(in fact a case has been filed already). This practise of industrialists squeezing huge subsidies from state Govt should be stopped immidiately. If you want to do business,do it on your own money. Not on public money.

Its wrong info fed to you by media. There isnt any problem for NANO in Gujarat. Some publicity hungry people became Handle to some politically motivated forces and they are tamed by Modi govt by taking legal approach. Let the state people decide whom the want to let their money use and not media or political parties. And sofar the history says Gujarat has favored businessmen.

To Mr Joshi and Mr Gupta
Let people decide whom they want to let their money use.I too agrre to this. Its not CPM who would dictate people to let people decide Whether Tata would come or not.Let prople decide. Can you say this with your head high?
Mr Gupta,I can be a farmer too.I do not have ego problems like many of the people here on board. The problem is you people have bag full of egos and do not consider or think about those farmers who coinstitute about 60% of the state population. How long will you be brainwashed?but atleast it is good that you have accepted that you have ego problems.

Mamata's alliance with INC is no surprise; she know the benifit she will reap with the help of Congress.

For sure she will be the next CM of WB.

However, Sheela Bhatt's reference of
MKS Narendra Modi and Gujarat story is far from Mamta's crusade against communal force;while gujarat promoted crude communal activities.

As ever, she and rediff a strong supporter of BJP is no surprise.
