Farmers suicide, starvation deaths, price rise, unemployment, job loss, share market down, bomb blasts every where in the country, Islamic Terrorism in the peak, creation of mini Pakistan and mini Bangladesh inside India by successive govts. of congress and UPA for vote, crores of Bangladeshi and Pak intruders were given vote Identity cards and citizen ship in India who are vote bank of congress/UPA, Kashmir pandits are living other parts of India as refugees. These are the main achievements of Congress for the last 55 years. The wind has already started in favour of BJP/NDA. This time BJP alone will cross 200 mark.

Advani is the worst and power greedy politician for BJP.
He would destroy BJP which was built by Atalji.
Congress is good but it is too weak against terrorism and has many corrupt and power hungry fellows.
Rahul and MMS are good face of UPA!!!!

What is good in Rahul to be face of UPA? Can you elaborate? For your kind information BJP was not built by Atalji and neither Advani, its built by millions of selfless workers.

Remember the Congress sycophants saying: "Priyanka lao, desh bachao" and now "Rahul lao, desh bachao"... Her own partymen seem to have no faith in Sonia at all. Sonia and Rahul attracted good crowds, but failed to garner any votes. Many Congress candidates dread that if Sonia and Rahul canvass in their constituencies, they will lose!

Mamata is may have possibly matured after so many setbacks!!!!!!!
by S Narain on Mar 13, 2009 03:01 PM

This may be true that Mamata has matured after learning so many failures & setbacks !!!!!!!!

In NDA she herslef threw away her Railway minsters post as protest against Tahalka ,as a fight against corruption,no one has succeded.
One of the most corrupt Lalu ,Ramvilas have been succesfulRailwayminsters. She might have learnt hardway lessons of Indian politics from Mayawati,Jaylaita etc.
She has not only damged herself but also Nano project & west Bengal.
She still needs to mature up!!!

* Advani injected VENOM in certain sections of Indian society..
* Voting for Advani is equal to voting for dis-integration of India.

India has seen her disintegration way back in the presence of so-called secular leaders in 1947. Advani is in politics since last 30-40 years and not a single portion of India dis-integrated. I think Mr. Newyork its time for you to concentrate on USA before it goes to dogs.

Both Congress and BJP are same! You cannot distinguish the politicians! They think only of power and their bank balance! Congress plays with vote banks and eventually does nothing with its old MP's.
Let's give BJP a chance! Congress had a very poor rule in the last 5 years! A puppet Prime Minister in the hands of Sonia Gandhi, shocks me why in all advertisements the name of Sonia Gandhi is before that of our honorable Prime Minister!

by Atanu Chatterjee on Mar 13, 2009 02:56 PM

Guys this is parliament election. And the national parties Congress or BJP should win as many seats to avoid hung parliament. We have seen lefts in the parliament is an obstacle for anything and everything. We have seen the history of TMC also where the top leadership have betrayed with the long-term interest of people of bengal.

Due to her fickle mindedness and eccentric ways, the word "rabid" is more befitting to the character of Mamata.

Left parties vs Mamata's TMC
by n vasudevan on Mar 13, 2009 01:59 PM  | Hide replies

Nearly three decades of communist rule in West Bengal. But look at the condition of average rural Bengali: His/her material poverty, education, health, nutrition, social status and economic condition. Even their small little landholdings are not safe, thanks to the Maxist-Maoist-communists capitalists! Nandigram and Singur are grims reminders.
It is on the ignorance and impoverished conditions of the poor the Leftists have been able to survive so far. But today they stand exposed, thanks largely to indefatigeble Mamata and her TMC. Leftists deserve to be defeated and an alternative formation should run the government in West Bengal for the next 5 years for healthy competitive development of the state, like in Kerala.

Rightly said Mr Sharma.IN fact in these 32 years, the state has gone down in every respect. Now they say of industrialisation.55 thousand small scale industries are shut down. Why cann't they open up few of these with the money they spent on Tatas? Why cann't they revive Dunlop

actually people have now caught the "secret trade" between Tatas and this Govt.

Commies can arm twist rural folk since they have kept papers of land distribution in thier respective party offices.Mamta type politicians are very good for opposition but not good to rule.CPM should not get blunt majority so they can take any thing for granted.
