James Otis has a point. So-called 'followers of Mahatma Gandhi' here in India, have been doing nothing but selling the Mahatma without caring for Gandhian values.

Very true. After all he was,
- not a handsome actor
- a nauseating figure
- half naked fakir
- not a millionaire
- not a royal family member
- not preached violance like
Bose or Tilak
- not a hindu fanatic despite
being a hindu
- not a RSS member
- calling untouchable as
Harijans instead of putting
them in teir places.
- nursed lepers instead of
puking at them.

Why sould we care about him?

please add to that the following as well
- experimented with having his nieces sleep naked with him
- by all accounts never took care of his own kids, and wife. Never bothered about his responsibility towards his own family.
etc.

Three Indians in the top 10 billionaire list. But none of them interested in buying them. They have forgotten the very man who had paved the path for them to go to the level where they are now.

The Italian mama and her bonny son in India should buy these items and thus become guardians of the Gandhian tradition by a perpetual political silence.
