Ga your bravery may look as if havinggone in vain but it will not history & time will tell the story of a failed state that imploded with a thud as all barbarians do Once again I salute you
Malitary are hero no doubt. But more than this we need police hero, IAS officers like hero. Since we have very big problems of internal violance like terror, naxal and other many crimes. Its highly important that we modernise our policing on war footing. Train them to be the best professionals. Provide them best system and high tech. Just like america has. Even if they find a dead body many years ago killed, they will figure out the identity quicly by simple dental x-ray. We need to make our police realy hightech if want to leave peacfully, cofortably and develop honestly.

police is just slave to politician and bureacrate, ther are brought up serving syndrome,,like slave,,
It pains that some people try to bring in politics even when the war was fought by Indian Army of Indian People (irrespective of Religion and Caste). I hope people will understand that our Indian Army is highly disciplined and professional.
No matter who was in power, it was the duty of that government to support Miliatry (Army, Nay and IAF). I am sure any party would have done the same.
There is no point in either trying to gain credit or downpalying the victory.
If the political parties devote atleast some of their energies in trying to address the issues of Military that they are facing, it would be useful rather than playing to gallery and trying to garner votes and brownie points.

The truth is the enemy refused to accept the dead bodies of its own soldiers.
That shows how much they got demoralised and shows their professionalism
We Wish to salute the martyred and living soldiers who took part in the Kargil war. It is a lesson to PAK that they will not be able to take an inch of Indian soil. Yes, we had to pay a heavy human loss.
Whenever, we hear of Vivek Batra, Sourabh Kalia and all the heroes, we feel proud that we are land of selfless souls who can do the ultimate sacrfice.
My appeal to all fellow indians is let us remember these real heroes every sec we live because they gave up their life so that we can live.
A timely article, for we should neve forget. What I do not understand is the introductory blurb, whic reads, "On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Vijay Divas, M P Anil Kumar profiles the saga of Flight Lieutenant Muhilan Subramaniam's wife Bina." I presume MP Anil kumar is the son of the Sqdn.ldr who died, although it is not made very clear by the names. However, where is the saga of ..... wife Bina? Some mistake by Rediff in the headings, or am I denser than I thought I was? Someone please elucidate. K.G. Rao
We must always remember our heroes of Kargil. Their heroic deeds must be included in our curriculum. Our children must know about these valiant heroes.

Kunjan Shah you are right. I wish no more life is lost in this dirty political game of our politicians.
It is not for nothing that Laldhari sinh Dinkar wrote "the wishes of a flower"!Our army and all the soldiers are the cream and flower of our country-sacrificed for the foolishness of our socalled netas.
