Those who belive in this fantacy are living in history. Atleast 47-48 years back from today! Look at Srilanka, Nepal & Bhutan, much smaller but still surviving. Attacking a country in todays's time that too India is not a joke. Every nation follows a diplomacy with carrot and stick policy. The current scenario belongs to a strong economy. If it is, then every thing else will follow.
The next 2 decades will mark a shift where apart from the US, China and India will also emerge as leaders in their respective fields i.e in manufacturing and services.
By the end of 2012 the recession will be gone and the trade ties of India with the US & EU will be strengthen back. With strong forward and backward linkages via economic interdependence, if Indian scenario shakes due to chinese attack (if at all), it will equally hurt the interests of the US & EU. They will be forced to come as seen in 1991 Gulf war where the US jumped in the fray to save Kuwit from Iraq. This war had so many after effects that ultimately the curtain only came down after the execution of Saddum Hussain.
Over past so many years Indian ARMY has proved itself on not one but on several counts. So my dear India is not the same of 1962 when it was actually the breach of faith of Hindi-Chini Bhai-Bhai. We too have learnt.

I see many dream-world-dwellers ridiculing and scoffing at this article but let me warn you this threat is very real.
Ever since the emergence of Nation states, the biggest challenge in invading an enemy state lies in holding onto captured territory because of hostile population. Hence the first prepratory step towards waging a war is to arm equip and brainwash people against theire own state and then make the act of agression look like a 'war of liberation'
Ever tried giving it a though why our eastern frontier is getting continuously laced with maoists while there are not too many of them on the western front?
Those who deny the reality of war are destined to pay by defeat. Jawahar Lal Nehru is just a glaring example of that folly.
Attcks have always been a part of civilization from time olds and I do not understand what the expert has in his mind in highlighting this issue in particular. Attacks at small levels on individuals, groups, states, or countries from outside or from inside are still going on in almost every nook and corner of the world. If China will attack India, people from both sides will suffer and may be suffering will be more from ndian side but can the writer stop the attack. It is nothing but to be in media by talking on such topics. The whole India is on the attack already from terrorists, nexals, natural calmities, artificial claities (Delhi metro etc.) and many more like corruption, contamination, pesticides etc. in which hundreds of people are loosing their lives every day. Countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia and others are waging wars on other countries without any reasons if India has to face China once more, nothing to be affraid of and its forces as well as public will take it when it will come like that. Donot worry.

Why not you bring the revolution to avoid Chineese products usage in India. Secular parties are blaiming you as terrorists. This is the time to proove your self.
